• I can't hide context sensitive help search

  I have a master chm and 17 slave CHMS which are merged based on what is installed on the user's PC (each chm is installed only if the associated software module is installed). I need to include a context-sensitive help for all these CHMS (place all these context sensitive subjects in the master chm) but I don't want the user to be able to find these subjects by the research. I tried the previously suggested on the forum in order to hide the pop-up windows - up of research by renaming the extension (htm to xhtm) and addition of the heading in the file of baggage, but the link does not work when I test the mapping (using the CSH test tool). Anyone know if this is possible?

  Thanks for your reply. I tried assigning the ID of the map after changing the file extension, but nothing helped. Your comment on the ID of the card being always assigned to .htm made me check the ali file where it was indeed still .htm. I edited manaually cela and hey presto it works now.

  I want to know how can I hide an image on a layer that has enogh for other video clips. Like the following...

  (1) first layer... ActionScript

  (2) layer mask... Rectangle rounded off with some design

  (2) the image layer... Best picture (as a background for all other video clips)

  (3) layer of movie Clips... 10 video clips (which look like slides and will act as a Web page for each)

  What I want is that the layer mask (Layer 2) must be enogh for all layer 3 film clips. No need to mask in each film.

  I tried in the same order, but it has not worked for me.

  mouse down (and hold) the movieclip on layer (to the left of your timeline) and move slowly the mouse until you see that the movieclip layer is indented to indicate will be hidden.

  2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

  3. are you able to access all Web sites?

  First of all, I suggest that you try to download the file with Windows internet explore.

  If you are able to download using Windows internet explore, then there may be a problem with the Firefox browser.

  Uninstall and reinstall Firefox browser and check.

  If you are facing a similar issue when you use Internet explore, then it may be Internet problem try to download some other file or document check if it works.

  Also contact your internet service provider to check if the connection side there is fine.

  Go back with the results!

  A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... and download Adobe Reader 11.0 installation base.

  Then download each individual updates and run them sequentially.

  I installed back to the last update of security which is version 08 and were able to register under normal operations.

  You will need to disable the automatic updates to keep up with the 08 version, until Adobe fixes this problem in a future release.

• Can't open/save images in PNG more! NEED HELP!

  Since yesterday, I have the problem that I can not open/save images in PNG, the option has completely disappeared.

  When I try to open one, it says 'not the right kind of document.

  I don't know what I did, I wanted to just install filters and I put in the Plug-ins/Filters folder.

  But they did not work so I took them again.

  I already deleted my preferences and I'm desperate, I don't know what to do anymore.

  Looks like you are using the version 12.0 of the PS.  If so, it's obsolete way.  Should be 12.05 I think.  So upgrade to this version.

• Help: Can't see the images in my site DW

  My computer died recently, so I had to install Dreamweaver on a new machine. Everything works fine except that I can't see the images in Dreamweaver with absolute addresses (universal) that are hosted on my site.
  
  I can see the images with relative addresses and I can see the images with absolute addresses on other sites.
  
  When I go online and copy the locations of images of images already on my site and paste these addresses in Dreamweaver as a location of the image, all I get is a gray broken image symbol.
  
  When I download a page that contains images (though those I do not now see in Dreamweaver) everything looks a lot online, so I know a problem isn't coding or links.

  OK... Just to fix it myself...

  In the "Site definition" under "Local news" in the slot "HTTP address", I had written to the address of the site. When I added to this address, my office off the main site directory images began to appear.

• How to hide the image displays for lightbox

  With the help of DW, I have a screen of lightbox.  Here is the page:

  As you will see, if you click on the photo, it opens on a viewer.  My colleague wants to have 10 pictures to open in the light therapy device, but they don't want all these photos to have thumbnails on the page.  In other words, they want a single photo, you click on it and then see all 10 in the lightbox.

  If I put all the code img for all 10 images on the page then all 10 images will be also visible on the page.  So I need to somehow 'hide' the images so that the small version of the photos do not appear on the page but will be displayed in the lightbox.

  Sorry if that sounds confusing and I hope someone can help.  Thank you.

  Well it would be pretty easy to do as 'By' suggested in the previous post and hide "thumbnails" you do not want on the page:

  Create a rule in your css - something like:

  .hide_thumbs {display: none ;}}

  So in general a set of images of the light box might look like the code below. (when you click them they open in a lightbox and this lightbox usually has an option to display the other pictures in this particular Gallery by clicking through them, rather than by clicking on them individually).

• Hide an image after view

  I have a legend on captivate in this is a hyperlink to open a picture, if you click on. Users can click on the link at any time while the narration goes and it opens onto another image that displayed for the entire slide. How can I get the image to disappear if the link is pressed again. In other words - you looked but now you want to just look at the original image and continue the narration.

  I can do a standard action to display the image, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to hide the image if you click again on the link hyper

  Looks like you need a toggle. Maybe create a variable with an initial value of 0. In your action, add 1 to the variable. If the variable is equal to 1, show the image. Otherwise, hide the image.

• Can we hide/show the mouse with an Action or Script?

  Hi all

  I'm developing a simulation using boxes to click in Captivate 4, on Windows XP. If the user clicks in the right place, the slide continues and shows the user what to do. If the user clicks on the exact spot, the simulation goes directly to the next slide. The problem is, successful or not, when the user moves to the next slide, saved the mouse pointer displayed on the slide. If I hide the mouse, then it remains hidden, even if the user clicks outside the box too many times and the simulation continues to show the user what to do. It's like things on the screen just select or click on themselves.

  I know the visibility of the mouse is used differently in the timeline to other objects. This isn't a particularly big deal, as long as there is a way to control the visibility of the mouse for simulations (one of the main points of sale of Captivate). Is there a way to control the visibility of the mouse with an Action or Script?

  The current settings for my click boxes are:

  

  I tried to assign an Action (several actions, really) to hide, display, activate or deactivate the mouse but the mouse doesn't seem to be available to do!

  Jeff,

  No problem, looks like an argument anyway you look at it. With the idea of image of concealment, just to clarify, you shouldn't have to reframe the context if you can get out with the help of the entire background graphic. All your background images are already in the library of backgrounds folder, so if you drag and drop the background image of the library on the slide, you can instantly use it as a picture rather than just a background image object.

  Just a thought, again in the case that it helps.

  There are Google Safe Search if you want to change the results of the research on a computer. However this a https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire.../?src=search block all images on a page when you click it.

  This one blocks images too.

• How can I delete the images I posted in threads?

  I came here before and I've posted questions to people to help me. That being said, I sometimes had to post images to show the people what I was talking about. I find this kind of insecure, so I wanted to make sure I deleted all the images that I had posted before just for questions of security, so that no one else could see the photos I posted from my computer. Any suggestions on this subject, where I can find where to delete them?

  I downloaded the latest BIOS update for my laptop. When I extracted the folder and ran the Winflash.exe, it brings me to a window asking me to open the so-called "Fill bios image here." in My Documents. When I click on open, then says Can not find the image of the BIOS: bios C:\Users\Max\Documents\Fill picture here.
  Can anyone help? None of this is mentioned in the guide to update BIOS on the site and I need this update of the BIOS. Thank you!

  First of all after you download the update of the BIOS, you will need to decompress.
  In my case, I unzipped the BIOS to the C:\ (System partition)

  Then run the file WinFlash.exe.
  If the BIOS update would not start then try with the file UpdateBIOS.bat

  But note; do not forget that you have downloaded the right version of the BIOS for the right laptop model
