  In Acrobat Reader mobile applications, the tools of comments (as point climax, strikethrough, underline, Sticky Notes) are not "sticky".  As you mentioned, you must select a feedback tool after each use.

  Here's another way to highlight the text.

  1. Long press (press and hold) on the text you want to highlight.
  2. Adjust the selection of text by moving the blue circle ("grabber") (right, left, up, down).
  3. Select to highlight in the context menu that appears.

• Mouse don't work in Microsoft Word to select text, or highlight text to copy or add features like bold/italic/underlined.

  After you paste an e-mail message in a Microsoft Word document (which I do all the time), my mouse no longer works to click anywhere in the document and it doesn't allow me to use the side scroll bar.  I can still click on the tabs and controls to the top of the page buttons up and down and up, but I can't highlight text underlined/bold/italic to copy or move in the document.  I use these features all the time and I am very frustrated.  I can still do all of these things in other applications such as email, Facebook, Internet, but not in Word.  Help, please.  I already checked my mouse settings and drivers and they are all up to date without errors.  I restarted my computer; the only step I can think is reinstall Microsoft Office Professional 2007.  I appreciate any help you can provide.  Respectfully, Julie

• I can't highlight and copy the text or hightlight as I always have. Computer day this morning?

  I've been away for 3 weeks. This a.m.. I had 18 automatic updates from Microsoft. After the installation of those I can no longer highlight text. I generally highlight and copy with ctrl c and highlight and paste with ctrl v. When I select just goes. I also tried to restore in a week and the restore has failed twice.

  Most of the time I'm tring to highlight a line of text on the internet to copy to a page of Web links in Web easy Pro 8. I usually highlight the text, press ctrl c; go easy Web and open a rich text box and press ctrl v and fact. Now when I try to highlight it continues to ignore the words or just pointed out briefly, then disappears. There is a link in the text, I'm trying to highlight, and often it just opens the link. If I highlight a line and make it fit so I can't delete it, nothing happens when I hit delete. All of this worked before I approved updates from Microsoft (17 or them) when I turned on my computer after having been there for 3 weeks.

  Try resetting your browser-

  Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab

  Press the Reset button

  Check delete all personal settings

  Press Reset

  Press Ok

  Restart the computer and then try to copy/paste

  Try a system restore to a Date before the problem began:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  I read a lot of text scanned from my teacher in my study. According to the manuals, I should be able to highlight text - but it does not work.

  Is it because the text is a scan? It only works with text document files that are converted to pdf files?

  Yes. To highlight text, it must be 'true' text, IE the text can be selected, not just an image.

  To convert an image in real text, you need to Acrobat or a subscription to the PDF package.

  You can use the square or other tools to markup design, to create a kind of point culminating on the desired text, though.

  I want to just 'find' text put one by one (as a find next) so that I can simply display the information immediately.

  So far, I have been scrolling and looking for highlighted text, which is certainly not a good way of doing in a medium-to-large sized paper.

  Yes Ron, I had the same problem until a few days ago and through the search for answers, I found a way that works. Other advice was me nowhere so if there is an easier way, I don't know what it is to try the following I found to work in gmail, outlook, wind livemail, as I tried it too

  It has nothing to do with any browser you use. I tried this in Win 7 & Win 8 so it doesn't matter because you are in your e-mail account and that's where you want to be.
  Here, you answer:
  Click on TRANSFER
  In the BOX ENTER in TO the receiver
  Move your mouse to the email you forward and left click. This will give you the location of the blinking cursor and when you click the previous button will erase the info you want to delete. To continue to remove each line, you must position your cursor on the blank line below or next to the info you want to delete.
  Now, I hope that you get not confused because some people refer to the pointed arrow as cursor that is NOT. The cursor is the flashing vertical line that everyone sees and uses to enter and write text.
  I hope this helps you to Ron that I was pulling my hair looking for a response.
