I can't import media to my movies

When I start a new project, and click IMPORT MEDIA any of my photos are available.  I use iPhoto and iPhoto Library Manager but none of my libraries can be highlighted for selection.  How to access my photos to start my movie?

What software do you want to import? iMovie? Final Cut?

In addition, the images already imported from a camera?

    Hi napoleonfoo,

Did you follow the steps provided by John Inzer?

To better understand the issue, we need the following information:

    (a) what is the exact error that you receive when you import video into windows movie maker?

    (b) what is the file format of the video you are trying to import?

    (c) means the video sharing with each drive that you use or simply with a particular player?

To clarify, you try to install a program (or download the program)?  What program are you trying to install? You get a specific error message?

  • Why can I play a WMV video that I created, but not import it into Windows Movie Maker?

Why do I get the error message "the file * *.wmv cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer." If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file. "even if I CAN play the video in Windows Media Player?

I have a Windows Media Video file I recorded using another program. I can open the video and watch it in Windows Media Player, but when I try to import into Windows Movie Maker (as I did with the other videos I recorded), I get a message saying that it cannot be imported "because the necessary codec to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to re-import the file. "I tried to close Windows Movie Maker and reopening, she even tried to restart my computer, but it still does not work.

    Hello

    ·         What program did you use for recording to WMV file?

    ·         Are you having similar problem when you try to import the WMV file, which is not recorded by this program?

    Method 1:

Although you can play a file in Microsoft Windows Media Player, you may not be able to import the file into Windows Movie Maker even though this article lists this kind of file. You will not be able to import the file if the codec that was used to encode the audio or video is not a codec that is supplied with Windows. In this case, you can re - encode the video or audio by using Windows Media Encoder, and then import the video or audio.

To download the Windows Media Encoder, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

  • Can't import r3d with media browser

    Hello

I updated my system for Mac El Capitan 10.11.4 and first to 9.2.0 (41) Build.

I had a project that I did before the update. I saved a new course prproj file. But I can´t import new files with the media browser r3d. If I go in the folder, even the Red folders are not available and the files are not displayed. Except for one. Here are the Red Dragon 6 k files. Never had this before. If I drag and drop them, it works. But this isn't the way I want to import.

UPDATE: this i only in a single folder. I can see all the other files from other projects and all of the r3d files. Very strange.

Actually, I figured out that particular app called "Compare files" do not have access to any folder on mac. But I can't find how to give permissions to application to work on this problem.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    Hi Michaelle1,

    ·          You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

    ·          Do you have any third party media player and codec installed on your computer?

Temporarily uninstall them if you have any third-party media player installed on your computer and check if you are able to import files video .mov in Windows Movie Maker.

Secondly, if you have any third-party codec player installed temporarily uninstall them and check.

To uninstall codec and third-party multimedia player, you can use the Windows Cleanup utility.

Download and install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility from this link:

Description of the Windows Installer Cleanup utility

Now, run the utility ("' start > all programs > Windows Installer Cleanup" "). In the list of programs displayed in the cleanup, select programs, and then click on remove. Quit out of cleaning.

    Hey hobiembc,

The .mp3 file format is not supported by Windows Movie Maker, but you can convert the files to .mp3 in .wma or .wav format and then try to import into Windows Movie Maker.

You can use Windows Media Encoder to convert .mp3 .wma files.

  • Can't import video into Flash Pro CS5

I can't import video in Flash Professional CS5.  I tried all sorts of things for days without success. I used Adobe Media Encoder to convert a video into a format that can be imported into Flash. My source was a VOB (it's a Pal Source) I have been using game source presets and tried others too.  I think I've managed to convert the video for both FLV and F4V formats.  They play well with Adobe Media Player.  However, when I try to import (file-import-open external library (get the screen of the Wizard), click Browse on the option of your computer, select the file, exit load video with playback component, then continue hit and continue to hit on the screen following after select the default skin and pressing on continue on the next page and finish on the next page) , I get the error tab out Flash that says: "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound: Adobe Flash tried to read a live feed or recorded, that does not exist." Source was not found. "No matter what I try, I get the same message.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.   I have searched all over the web for a solution to this problem with nothing doesn't.

    Thank you

    Kirk

Open the file browser > navigate to the directory that contains your flv/f4v > right click > click Properties > confirm that she has more than 0 bytes.

If it does create a new directory and move your flv/f4v to the new directory.  create a new fla and save it to the newly created the directory that contains your flv/f4v and repeat your import steps.

I can't import addresses my old computer to the new Thunderbird. The import function simply stops. I waited for her several times, tried twice, abandoned.

What you are trying to import from?

Users from a different mail program generally target functions of import in Thunderbird.

If you move Thunderbird from one computer to another, the best way is to copy the profile to the new computer.
