I can't remove songs off my cell phone using windows media player. I need help.

I use Windows Media Player to put music on my cell phone, but now I can not remove the music. He repeats to me that I is not able to remove it. Could someone please help me so that I can get the music off my phone?

This can vary greatly depending on the type of phone you have.  If you can let us know, we can help.

But first of all, I would like to try this:

  1. Click on start and open the work «»
  2. If your phone is listed here, double-click on it and see if you can explore the files and delete normally.
  3. If it doesn't work the first time, try to go back to 'Computer' and this time, the phone with the right button and choose "Explorer" instead.  On some phones, it connects to a different method and allows you to use that way.

  • How can I remove folder rip of monitored files of Windows Media Player 11?

RIP my CD to wav files on an external drive that I can use to make compilations of disc or mp3, but if I put this drive to be Windows Media Player rip folder, it includes it in the library of almost anything. As much as I have a separate player for mp3 (Yes, I don't keep my music in My Documents, Microsoft; I really don't like my music down from the ship), it includes the files wav and mp3 s, causing duplicates in my library. I only want to listen to mp3 because I use a computer as a network hub to my mp3.

How can I delete the folder rip as a watched folder, and why Microsoft does not insist on what actually monitored? I don't see the point. I now do a temp folder just for tears and move the wav files on before turning back to my library. Pain.

    Hi dhinged,

Ripped files are automatically added to the Windows Media Player library. On the computer, the files are in the folder specified on the tab extract music from the Options dialog box. You can change the folder at any time, but it can not be removed from monitored by Windows Media Player.
Ref: where can I find the files that I ripped?

I suggest you to create folders separated external hard disk (wav) files ripped to mp3 so that you can monitor folders separately.

  • Can I watch 2 different videos for comparison using Windows Media Player?

    Original title: Media Player HELPPPPPPPP

I want to be able to open 2 different videos for comparison, but a set of controls allow you to control the two videos, in order to be started and stopped at the same time. Is this possible with Media player?, if not anyone knows of any media program that will allow me to do.

Windows Media Player does not allow several instances but
an earlier version called... Media Player 6.4 Classc will allow
you need to open as many instances as you want.

    Media Player Classic
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_media_player_classic/
(name of the file to download is: mplayerc_20070918.zip)

No installation is necessary... just open the compressed folder and
Drag mplayerc.exe out of the folder and drop it on your desktop.

Just left click the .exe to launch as many instances as you
here and then drag and drop your video files on the screens.

  • synchronization of songs on an i - pod on windows media player

I'm trying to sync songs on my i - pod using windows media player, but when I plugged my iPod into my laptop there not appear in windows media player on the connect a device.

    Hello

Unlike other MP3 players, iPods use the software Apple iTunes to transfer music to the computer. Using iTunes, you can store a music library on your computer.

If you are using Windows Vista, you must go to the Apple web site and download iTunes for your version of Vista.  Then you can sync your iPod with your computer.

Windows Media Player are not compatible with the iPod. To work around the problem, you can search for a third party plug-in syncing the iPod to your windows media player online.

    Help!

    Hello

    • What version of Windows are you using?

    1. it is possible that you are missing the codec to play the file or it is clashing with other codec files.

    2. the link provided below lists supported by Windows Media Player file format.
It does not list the AVCHD or. MTS files supported file format directly:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316992

    3. yet we cannot be sure at this point that the issue is due to interference with some files.

    Method 1:
Alternatively, you can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present. The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

Note: When you use System restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

To do this, there must be a restore point from the system in which the connection was successful.

Please refer to the below of the help links on performing a system restore.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-system-restore
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

    Method 2:
You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On thefile tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

You can check the link for assistance on the issue - below

  • How I just play all my songs randomly in my v12 to Windows Media Player library?

How to play just all my songs randomly in my v12 for Windows Media Player that are in the library?

It seems that I must make a playlist named 'all' select all the music then play this list. So I need to do each time I have download more music on the computer. New music in the library that it scans the concerned disks but then reading list "all" is old and lack the new songs. There must be an easier way that I'm missing that works without need to create a new play list whenever I have add new music to my computer. Anyone know?

The right limit MP3 was just an example, they touch the part that is in you is to customize the filter for your library: "then, we must take a test that corresponds to all the songs.

Another option is to simply add a "sort by", which filter actually at all.  Then, you just play with Shuffle on if you want to ignore the sorting criteria.

You can add a file type filter, and even if the mp3/wma/wav files selector is a drop down, if you click on it and then start to type, you can type "blah" and change the first drop until "is not.  That said, includes all files that are NOT of type of file "blah".  This means that all file types will be paired because he is not a real file of 'blah' type  I tested and it works fine.

Similar approach could be taken with any of the other filters such as title/Album etc. by selecting "Filename" 'Is not' 'asdflkjsdflskjfsd' and that includes all the files except the one named "asdflkjsdflskjfsd" music :)

Another approach would be to just use a filter aside and say 'at least is' 'Unrated', which will include essentially all of the songs that they have a side or not.  I don't know if some of the more obscure types of music files will have sides, but as I don't know where this information is stored, certain types of files may not support it.

    "More...". ""File size""is at least""0 ".

    I could go on.

To watch DVD from PC - Windows Media Center (Windows 8) on my TV (31RL938, without fire related to the internet), I have to do an Extender installation with the Media Center on my PC (the TV symbol is on my PC).
That's why I have to put in an installation key (8 digits), which should be on my TV / Extender by choosing 'Windows Media Center' here.

    Have you managed that?

I don t use Media Center, but I made the connection with Windows Media Player.
Using the Media Player I can listen to the video and music to my TV or stereo receiver...

Can I use windows media player to play mp3 and have the recigition speech to convert to text?

You can get on a conversion of 70% in reading a file in Windows Media Player using something like Dragon Naturally Speaking to convert. If you set the playback speed to slow in Windows Media Player to play > play speed, you will get a better result. The best option is to download the file to an audio transcription service, but which generally costs 0, 50-1, 00 per minute of audio.
