I can't restore the laptop to factory settings

Hi guys, I recently received a large number of viruses on my Toshiba laptop and I pretty much cant get on the desktop because of it, so I decided to repair my laptop via records, but when I get this day with him, it gives me this error message
"the file nvrd32.sys is not found."

I did a lot of research on googled around and haven't found a solution so im posting this thread.

I have a Nvidia Quadro GFX card if that counts for anything.

I have 2 drives labeled "Drivers" and "XP SP2". I get SP2 on the laptop and I still get the same message, can someone help out me?

Don't know what's this file, it could be a virus trying to spread.

When Windows is virus and the operating system is damaged, it will never be the same.

So your best option would be to recover your data and run the recovery of your recovery disks to restore Windows back to its factory condition.

If you need a good tool to scan of viruses and spyware, install Avira and Spybot. (plus they are free!)

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

Is there another way for me to restore the system to factory with a clean Windows 7?

    > is there a way for me to get the recovery disk?

    Two ways:

    1. in Windows system work, running the same version (32-bit? 64-bit?), you can burn a disc of "recovery."

    2. find a friend with a 'detail' in the Windows 7 operating system DVD (remember this is the same 32-bit or 64-bit, your system) and borrow the DVD of him/her, or get him or her to burn a copy of it.

  • The intention to restore the computer to factory settings. How can I get Win10 again?

I have an emachine at less than ten years now. Originally it had installed Win7 on it and last year I got the free update of Win10. No problem downloading or installation, have no problem with it, but this poor old clunky machine is to his last breath. I want to do a "restore to factory settings. I know it will destroy everything, and I guess he'll reinstall Win7, after which I would download and re - install Win10 just like I did before.

    Can I do this?

Should I have my registration key of Win10?

Where would he get this information?

Win10 is still available as a free download/install as if it were last year?

I don't want to restore on Win7 to see that now I have to buy the Win10 I'm currently using for free, I want to know ahead what to expect and what will be expected of me until I push the button.

Yes, I know, I need a new computer, but it is not the budget for it right now. It's why I can't really afford to buy Win10 if I don't have one.

    Thank you

    JaeMmb

    Yes, you can.

Format your system and install Windows 7 and turn it on.

After coming to start windows update and when your windows 7 updated, it will automatically give you 10 free update Windows.

But the upgrade of your system before July 29, 2016 because after that, you will only get the free update.
