My messages when I try to update things like Windows Media Player tells me that I can't set a date of restoration and that if I lose my installed programs that they can not be recovered. Guess that means I have to use my recovery again disks?

  Perhaps, this happens when the author or sender of the file applies the security settings on the pdf file so that other users would not be able to comment on the file.

  You have created the file? Please check if there are security restrictions on the file under properties of the document.

I upgraded it to windows 7 to windows 7 Professional that should not make that big of a difference. But now I have to run my connection wireless off an external usb wireless adapter and I can't one that is internal to the work. I tried to troubleshoot everything and he can't always find the driver even when the computer is online. I tried to download the driver from the website of intel, but this does not work either...

  I see that Windows Live Mail is supposed to be able to import contacts and emails OE6. But where am I supposed to put old OE6 files on the computer so that Windows Live Mail can find them? OE6 only let me "export" to Outlook or Microsoft Exchange, nor of what exists on my old computer, nor my other!

  Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

  For messages:

  Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

  Location of OE message store:

  In OE: Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  For addresses:

  Open the address book in OE and file | Export | Address book (wab) and save it to the desktop. Copy it to a flash drive. Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail.

  Open the Contacts list in WLMail, (go |) Contacts in the Menu bar) and the file | Import | Address book (wab) Windows and the point where you saved it.

  Note: If you use a CD or a DVD instead of a flash drive, after placing on the new machine you must remove the read-only attribute in the properties before you import.

  Microsoft provides no support for pre-installed OS.  You must obtain from the computer manufacturer.

Here also to point out that I had XP running on it before without problem and I tested the DVD on another computer and it worked.

  If you do not have a Windows 7 disc, you can borrow a friends because they are not a copy
  protected. The manufacturer of your system will also sell the physical DVD cheap since you already
