  Probably you monitor is too dark, and you should just increase the brightness a bit?

• Bridge 6.2.0.179 does not display the dimensions of the PNG files in the metadata Panel - and can't get off.

  After the upgrade to the last bridge, the metadata panel displays is no longer the width and height of a PNG image. It still works for other types of files, such as jpg.

  I have to use Explorer to get the dimensions for a bunch of PNG. Very inconvenient. I wanted to downgrade the last bridge, but it seems that it is no longer available.

  I tried to completely uninstall the CC (and pref.) and reinstall. No joy.

  Just updated bridge this morning (6.3.0.177) and happy to say on my system (OS X El Capitan 10.11.6) that the dimensions of the png is now displayed after several months of not having at their disposal!

  It is not much more left to do, really:

  1. create your custom - bitmap button class copy most of the project advanced user interface.

  2. create your personalized with background image - again, Manager copy most of "adding background... picture." "with all the changes that you deem necessary.  You can replace HorizontalFieldManager with VerticalFieldManager, for example, according to your needs. Also, if you've read this article, visit again and take a look at the note at the bottom - I just added a. It might not be relevant today, but may be useful later - I answered enough questions here on the forums, so people do not experience this problem.

  3 create an instance of your custom Manager to enlarge the image as the parameter - let's call him myBgMgr, for example. Add myBgMgr to your screen.

  4. Add the new BitmapButtonField (smallerImage,...) to myBgMgr.

• createImage not able to find the .png file

  I try to load an image .png (or .jpg) in my java application with a call to the javax.microedition.lcdui.Image.createImage method. I use Eclipse v3.4.1, with the plugin v1.0.0.50 BlackBerryJDE BlackBerry component package v4.5.0 and running on a BlackBerry Pearl 8130 with o/s 4.5.0.77. createImage returns a null value, which I suspect means that I do not have the .png file in the correct source path. So what I'm missing to get the correctly loaded image?

  Uunfortunately, that's how image links work. Everything is square or rectangular in HTML, so when you apply a link to an image, it is actually applied to the image frame.

  It is possible to make links non square using image maps, but it involves a bit of coding.

• The PNG files are not open in CS6

  I have SP6 which works perfectly since I got up this morning.  Now all of a sudden, any time I try to open a PNG in PS, I get the message "could not complete your request because the file is not found.

  I checked my preferences and png are set to be opened by the PS, and I tried many png who opened my program in the past, no problem, this is not a case of won't corrupt png.  Also, I went and replaced the preferences file in PS6 in the case that was damaged, but nothing works.  PSD and j clips are open.  The only plug-in that has changed recently is that I upgraded to photosuit On1 9.5 to 10 Photosuit On1 last week.

  Suggest you to run Photoshop with the SHIFT key and click Yes to ignore the loading of plugins in option

  Then go to file > open and select the PNG file to open

  Apart from this, you might also want right click / Control click on the PNG file in file Explorer / Finder and choose open with Photoshop.

  MPG files ARE VOB files, dl. All you have to do is change the suffix.
