• Satellite P500 - 14L - can not see the mouse when you play the game

  This only happens on C & C4 game or with other games too?

  You should look for a patch for this game. You can find it on the site of the factory.
  Additionally, make sure that the latest version of DirectX is installed.

  Last but not least, it would be interesting to know what operating system you have.

  Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for the touchpad for your laptop? You can download it from the download page of software and the driver for your model laptop.

  Your question is not quite clear to me, but this sentence "I can click on" show/hide elements "for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide the slide." is ring a Bell! Have you used the "eye" icon in the timeline panel to "hide" the objects? That is not intended to hide the version published, only to temporarily hide for editing purposes, have has too many objects on the slide. If you really want to hide an object permanently, so it does not appear after the publication or during a preview (play Slide is not a preview, is also only for editing, synchronization) you must use the 'other' "eye" icon you will find at the top left of the properties of this object Panel. Quite confusing to have twice the same button to completely different purpose (there is even a third version in Drag Drop & who still has another feature, just hide the links in the D & D).

• Satellite M500 - Mouse pointer disappears when you play games online

  I have a brand new, custom configured M500 form Toshiba. It has Windows 7 Professional Enterprise, 64-bit edition. Everything worked great until I spent a lot of money on the game Star Trek Online. When I go in the game, the mouse pointer disappears. I can see on the screen change action items when the mouse hover over them but no pointer. It makes the game difficult. Then I tried another game online, Free Realms, and I have the same problem.

  I use a Logitech V220 Wireless mouse. I uninstalled the Logitech driver to see if that was the issue. I allowed Windows to use the default driver provided with the system. It does not work.

  I called Toshiba and they had me remove the device and selected Windows generic driver for that. It works no more. The guy on the line said it would enter my service call and that she would go to a senior technician and they would call me within 24 hours. It has been two weeks and not a glance.

  Anyone else has this problem or know of any other way I can try to solve it?

  To me that sounds like this, there is a problem (incompatibility) between this online game and your external mouse...
  In your case I remove the mouse and uninstall the driver. Run CCleaner to clean the registry. Now try the touchpad online.

  More update the display and DirectX as Al - eX driver already written.

• I have a problem with finding a PnP USB audio device when you search for available audio devices.

  I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

  The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

  1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

  If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

  2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  "Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

  I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

  I am running the application as an exe to build.

  I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

  Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

  The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

• NetBook - problems with the size of the screen when you play

  Hello, I recently got a netbook 9 "and when I try to play games on it, the entire game screen does not fit into the netbook screen.  This means that I can't play anywhere the menu or game etc controls are at the bottom of the screen. Can someone tell me if I can fix the problem please?

  9-inch netbooks generally have screens of 1024 x 600.  Most games have settings to choose their resolution, choose something like 800 x 600 or 1024 x 600, if they support it, and that should solve it for games that operate at full screen.

  If you talk about browser based games, unfortunately they often have a fixed resolution.  In Internet Explorer, you can go to tools-> full screen to hide the browser frame that will free up a little space, but other than that there is not a lot that can be done about it, it's an a limit to have such a low vertical resolution.   Cables VGA, DVI and component video don't support audio signals. However, HDMI cables are supported, but not all, audio signals compatible HDMI video audio support cards. If your TV has an audio input, you might be able to connect an audio cable separate from their computer directly to the TV card. Otherwise, you need to connect the audio signal to a different device, such as external speakers or your stereo.   Recently installed new monitor (HP2511x), now the zoom in/out function does not work in Cityville.  It works very well to Farmville, and it still works in Cityville on my laptop, so it's something on the new monitor.  Any ideas?

  Did you use another resolution (bottom) with the old?
  You can try to fix this old resolution for your new monitor, too.
