I can't uninstall my software!

My software is no longer right for some reason any and I can use is no longer my wireless adapter.  I tried to uninstall the software, but it won't let me do that.  He gets 2 bars in the uninstall and then freezes.  Reinstallation does not work either.  He said that the program is already installed and will not overwrite it.  I tried everything, including a manual removal of files, but nothing works.  I tried to contact Linksys but its computer system has problems, and they say they can't help me now.  Does anyone know how to get this program off my computer?

I had this problem. manual uninstall.

  • I can't connect to the internet via my host after uninstalled antivirus software and restart

I can't connect to the internet via my host after uninstalled antivirus software and restart it.

I use windows xp on my host computer and all computers in my client. After that I uninstalled the free trial NIS version and restart my host, I lost the internet connection. Tried to restore with the restoration of the system, but when I restarted it, it said the system restore could not be made. I changed it then with my laptop and I can connect to the internet as the host.

    Hello

This can happen if the uninstall process fails and leaves behind a Symantec registry value. See the following Symantec article.

Unable to connect to the Internet after uninstalling Norton AntiVirus.

    http://Service1.Symantec.com/support/NAV.nsf/8d071816eedd7cac88256c0e005a96e5/751c3298ab99cf7188256d34006702e2?OpenDocument

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Hello

    (1) do you have made no changes before this problem?

Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem still persists.

Method 1: Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Method 2: Microsoft Safety Scanner

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. The Microsoft Safety Scanner is not a replacement for the use of antivirus software that offers continuous protection. For a real-time protection that helps you keep your home or small office PC against viruses, spyware and other malicious software, download Microsoft Security Essentials.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • I can't uninstall an embroidery software

I'm trying to uninstall a software embroidery, but when I select the program and click on uninstall, nothing happens.  I can not even find the program in the all programs window, nor do I find using the search feature in the Explorer.  I'm completely stumped!

    Hello

Right-click on the icon that is used to start tab shortcut TI - properties - target line will indicate where it
is on the system, IF it is on the system at all (t - it only run from a CD or a DVD?). If we use
Start - computer or Windows Explorer to access his file - is there an uninstall program
It? If this isn't the case, you can simply delete the folder and the icon because he's probably not a formal installation.

Another possibility is to use Revo Uninstalller - free - see if it is shown in it and if so remove it.

  • Can't uninstall DisplayLink Core Software on a laptop Sony Vaio (VGN-NR110E model) for a Windows Vista upgrade to Windows 7.

Hi, I wonder if there is someone who can help me on this issue because it prevents me to install Windows 7 on my laptop.  I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NR110E model, and when I try to install Win7 it tells me that I must first uninstall DisplayLink Core Software.  I went to my control panel to uninstall the program, and it doesn't let me, saying another program he has in use.  On this forum, someone suggested that I'm trying to boot my laptop in safe mode, and it can allows me to remove the program there.  My concern with this would be if I remove this program in Mode safe, how could make sure I'd be able to re - install DisplayLink Core Software should anything go wrong when I try to install Win7?

The other question I have is there are two other programs that appear to be linked to DisplayLink Core Software.  They are called SONY VGP-UPR1 and there is another utility called program SONY VGP-UPR1 (display Adapater). If I deleted those first, it seems that it can release DisplayLink Core software should be deleted.  In this case someone has already tried that and had success?

Could someone install Windows 7 on a Sony Vaio VGN-NR110E?

    Hi RC2076,

Welcome to Windows 7 answers Forum!

From what I can see SONY VGP-UPR1is a USB docking station for VAIO, try to temporarily disable by right clicking on the program. You can go ahead and uninstall the software basis of DisplayLink, as long as you have the CD for this software.

Once you are done uninstalling, you can install Windows 7 and later you install DisplayLink Core Software and select then the other two programs that are linked with the above mentioned software.

You can also run the Upgrade Advisor and check it out. Here is the link to download the Upgrade Advisor.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Windows-7/get/Upgrade-Advisor.aspx

    Hope this information is useful.
