  Please follow the steps below to uninstall Acrobat XI:

  WINDOWS:

  Control Panel > programs and features > uninstall a program > right click on Acrobat XI and UNINSTALL

  MAC:

  Finder > Applications > utilities > Adobe Installers > Acrobat XI - double click to UNINSTALL

  You don't mention the reason you want to uninstall Adobe Reader, but if you have issues and that many others still is, try this light and Windows more user-friendly PDF reader. I used it for years.

  Thank you all, but I gave up. Tried all the suggestions without success. Put at disposal of the HDD with Windows XP and the problem of Firefox and loaded Windows 7 on a new drive. I had saved a file backup Favorites from the XP machine and successfully migrate the new hard drive. Thanks again.

  It depends on your version of Windows XP.  If it was preinstalled on your laptop, it is an OEM version and is only linked to this laptop.  If you have purchased an XP upgrade, the new Bureau should first of a previous version of Windows on it.  If you have purchased a full version, then you can install it with no problem and no previous operating system.

  The most important aspect would be to sign a machine if you do not plan to use there longer.  Uninstall does not take care of disconnection.  And leave the installed software allows signing back in easily.

  Your license allows you to have two facilities enabled, so you can keep the original signed as a backup if you wish.

  For users having the same problem, I just uninstalled Mozilla Firefox from this computer went to the start menu and searched %AppData%, clicked on the "Roaming" and deleted the Mozilla folder. If it won't let you do this, make sure all the things Mozilla are closed and uninstalled. You can always sign in your Mozilla account on another computer or if you reinstall the browser on the same computer.
