• Cannot use the Snipping Tool/Take screenshots

  After restarting my computer a few days ago, I found that I was unable to use the cutting tool. Whenever I try to use it, my entire monitor turns to a grey color, and some of the text on the tool itself is blacked out. I tried to take a screenshot instead, but the images do not copy, so I can't paste. I tried to install some program of photo sharing, and none so far has worked.   You can capture all of the following types of comments:

  • Free-form snip.  Draw a free-form around an object shape.

  • Rectangular snip.  Drag the cursor around an object to form a rectangle.

  • Capture window.  Select a window such as a dialog box or the browser window you want to capture.

  • Capture full screen.  Capture the entire screen.

  Uncheck the box "Show transform controls", which appears when you select the selection tool.

  Hello, I met a strange thing in Photoshop, which is probably start my fault, but I am struggling to find a solution. Basically, I have a layer, and when I want to convert/resize, there, there is always a box with an empty space around him.   That is to say that the layer contained out in regards to the handles.  There is no need to be a single pixel to 1% opacity, and free transform it will include.  The solution is to make a loose selection around the central object > reverse selection > and delete.

  I'm working on creating composite images, import of small picture elements that must be positioned, scale, distorted and sometimes inverted to match the lighting of the larger background image source. For example, import a picture of a car in an enlargement of the city - scape.

  Since these elements are quite low compared to the bottom layer, when I convert the layer element into a smart object, and then use the transformation tool, the bounding box is available to match the size of the large image in the background. The control points of the area of transformation, especially in Warp Mode, are often too far apart to be effective in this little piece of fine adjustment.

  Is there a technique I use to limit the processing area to cover simply the object I want to transform? Thank you.

  It doesn't to me with a psd placed in an another psd as a smart object. What file format you place? Do you need to use the dynamic object, it does not really help if you resize the bitmap images (unless you go back from smallest to largest).

  They used to show on the square shapes and ellipses and when I open old files with lines they always show on them too.

  Tried to hide and display the bounding box and switch between the selection and direct (black and white cursor tools) but can't get it to show the normal 8 knots.

  It shows only a knot at each end and when I select and drag the tool Selection normal (black slider) it is the same when I use the direct Selection (white slider) tool and is not right.

  I experienced an intermittent problem in Flash CS5, where sometimes I can't push anything using the Subselection tool. Sometimes, I can, but most of the time I can't and I don't know why.

  I can still click-and - drag points (or multiple points/paths), but I can't push the keyboard.

  Any ideas?

  My guess is that the item is grouped and you are inside the publishing group? For some reason any in this case you cannot move the points in this way.

  Separate the Group and try again. Sorry that's the only answer I know.

  So, I did abit of research regarding my dilemma. I wanted to just a solid understanding of my research findings.

  His my situation, my office im player capable to add Post-it notes and highlight text. When I open the same PDF file through the app Android, Im not supposed to. I get a message saying "this tool is not available because of the security settings of documents".

  My research ive concluded that it is the whole PDF encryption that is not allowing me to use the commenting tools in the Android app. Is this correct?

  Acrobat Reader mobile products (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) have the known limit where the changes cannot be saved in encrypted PDF documents.  As a result, users are not able to make changes (addition of comments/annotations or forms) for encrypted PDF documents.

  If you created the PDF file or if you know the password, you can remove the Security document and settings of restriction of the PDF on your desktop, so you can use it on your Android app.

  I found that it is more difficult to explain than I thought

  I don't like the new behavior in the latest version of Photoshop (CC 2015.1) regarding the way in which the background layers automatically unlock and convert to regular layers after using the crop tool. It's completely different to how things worked in previous versions, where a background layer remained in locked state flattened after using the crop tool.

  I get a LOT of images and this change has added an extra step to each image that I harvest, because I flatten the layers after cropping before saving the image. I looked through the preferences but cannot find a way to change this new behavior. Am I missing something?

  See if checking Delete the cropped Pixels in the tool options makes a difference.

  Help! I'm trying a simple transformation of the content of the layer image, and no matter what I do it is stuck on the hand tool and will not move or the effect of art somehow.

  What is going on? I tried a new file and the same thing. Never had this happen before.

  It seems that you are on the rotation tool to display that is nested with the hand tool. Use the hand tool and see if that solved the problem.
