  I have an iMac 3.06 GHz, which has been updated to El Capitan on January 15. Most of the things were going well with the transition, but it seems to be "stuck" now between iPhoto and photo - I don't know how else to put it, but I can't open the Photos. When I click on it in the Dock, I get the attached screenshot. It has been like that for several years I did the update to El Capitan. At first, it seemed that iPhoto has been migrated correctly to Photos during the update. But then, after clicking on my backup external to iPhoto, it appeared that if the migration process began all over again.  I now have the image shown on the attached screenshot. He's been stuck on '50% complete' for several days. When I try to stop the Photos I get: "Can't leave the Photos when creating or opening a library."

  After doing some checks for similar problems in previous posts, I was clued in to take a look at my Applications folder. And here, it lists the following multiple iPhoto libraries:

  There is no attached screenshots - to attach a picture click on the camera icon in the top bar of the new message window

  What format is the external hard drive? Is this a Time Machine backup or EHD are used by TM? How the EHD are connected to your Mac?

  And you should not have iPhoto (or pictures) libraries in your applications folder - they should be in your pictures folder

  One thing to try is force quit Photos (File menu ==> force quit), and then drag the iPhoto library you want to migrate the Photos icon in the Dock (if it is in an appropriate place on an appropriate disk)

  I just had the same thing happen. When I chose to continue, I got was a black screen and no option to enable the integration features.

  I found the settings screen for XP Mode via the start menu, all programs, Windows virtual PC, Windows Virtual PC. Right-click on the Virtual PC icon in windows, and then select settings. Select close and then change close automatically with the following measures: to Hibernate to stop.

  When I closed the window the next time xp mode, he asked me if I really wanted to force the shutown of the window, I said yes. The next time I started windows xp mode it came and all my programs were OK...

  Sorry for the late reply. I fixed it as follows. It was not enough to run the drop as an administrator, but to give administrator rights for all users (right-click the drop-> properties-> compatibility-> settings for all users-> check "Run as Administrator"). On another device, I also had to do the same thing with Photoshop itself to run the drop.

  For current work, I disabled the need to accept any request of the administrator (search-> Type "UAC").

  Guess that's the best temporary solution.

• How can I be reimbursed for an order, that I could not activate

  I received from Adobe, my InDesign ordering information. But the procedure to activate it breaks down, because I did it using a different account than the one I used previously for the months of product testing and recorded by Adobe. (The intention to change the ID account in my case not too) .

  So I was forced to pay another order using my old account-ID, as it is known by the system.

  Now, how can I get money back in the order, that I could not activate?

• How to activate IPAD 2 after the last update.

  I was not able to activate iPad 2 after the last update.   I tried to restore from Itunes and still get the same message. "the activation server is temporarily unavailable.   Connection, try your ipad to iTunes to activate it. or try again in a few minutes.

  Has anyone found a solution?    I restored via Itunes and everything done is lose my serial number. That appears is no longer...

  Support told me to send my ipad to them for a quote on the cost to repair?    It is obviously a software issue since there are so many people here have the same problem

Has crossed all suggestions from the support page (uninstalling/reinstalling driver USB, remove Lockdown folder and so on) but still no joy. iPhone continues to ask if I want to trust to the connected computer, responding 'Yes' has no effect.

• My iPad 2 could not activate after installing 9.03. Say... could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailalble. I tried to 'activate' for four days... went to an Apple store bar 'Genius' and still no solution.

  I have an iPad 2 and before executing the last IOS 9.3 update, it was a camera works perfectly well. I don't have any iCloud upward. I have the valuable photos and info on my iPad that I don't want to lose!  Now I can't even use it!  He failed to activate after the execution of the update and is now in an infinite loop.

  I understand that you're angry about the issue of server activation, but sittuations as why it is so important to backup your data using iTunes or iCloud. You never know when you might have to restore from a backup.
