I created a 'film' in Windows Movie Maker with audio. I'm now trying to burn on a DVD in windows DVD creation, but the program will change the order of my photos. What I am doing wrong?

  What are you trying to make to it after that's in Excel? If the PNG workflow does not work for you, then explain your workflow. It might help to know if you're Mac or Windows and the version numbers and maybe screenshots.

• Firefox will not load Java on Linux - even after following all the instructions on the net I can find - what am I doing wrong?

  The problem I have is that I am running Puppy Linux on my laptop.

  Now, I have tried everything I can to get Java works under Firefox, chrome, or Seamonkey (I have all three browsers on my computer).

  For firefox and seamonkey, I tried the following-

  Downloaded the tar.gz for java file
  he unzipped in/opt/java
  went to/user/lib/mozilla/plugins and run the command
  ln-s/opt/java/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so
  to create the symbolic link to the plugin
  check that the plugin is executable (in fact even tried to give all full read/write permission and run it)

  For chrome does the same thing but put the symbolic link in the/usr/lib/chromium-linux/plugins folder instead.

  Restart the web browser, even tried to restart the X server where the browser runs somewhere in the background.

  All three browsers can pick up all other .so plugins in this folder except Java.

  When I click on check plugins on firefox I access the page on 'Missing Java? -For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please install the latest version.

  However, the version I downloaded is Version 7 9 update that is exactly the same as that which is available under the latest version of Java is (it was only downloaded from this link a few minutes before, I even tried to re - download just in case there was an update in 5 minutes).

  If I go to the Java folder and run the control panel of the Java Control Panel appears, and he knows where Java is installed and everything.

  So what's happening? I have installed the plugin in the right directory? I guess then that is where all the other plugins are stored and Firefox, Chrome and Seamonkey are picking all others upward fine, or would there be an old version of Java lurking around somewhere on my system, Firefox, Seamonkey, and Chrome are trying all to use it?

  I also tried to download the RPM and posing in the folder/usr/java and replacing the symlink/opt/java than in the folder/usr/java and still nothing.

  I don't really understand it ' cos it's picking up all the other plugins like Gecko and even installed Flash in the same way and that works very well.

  libjavaplugin_oji.so is the classic Java plugin.
  
  You need the libnpjp2.so of next generation plugin (for examplejava/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so) for current browsers.

  When you save your project, and then rename, move or delete a photo next time you open your project, you will see a red X where the photo was. Just a click with the right button on the X and select Remove then import your photo again under the new name or location and click on save project on the file menu.

  In the menu task under finished film click Save to my computer tracking instructions and your project will be saved as a movie.

  You're probably doing nothing wrong.

  One thing to try is after inserting that tap photo images and then change the size. If it works, you have my CCC friend to thank for calling your issue to my attention.

  You get this error message when you try to open an Illustrator (.ai) file in Photoshop. You must open the file in Illustrator and export it as jpg or png and open in Photoshop or you create a new image in Photoshop and then drag this picture on it from the library. The first option is best if you need to edit the picture somehow.

  Some experiments to try.

  (1) create a small project with just a few pictures and see if it will play.

  (2) use .bmp photos to create the project instead of .jpg photos.

  (3) remove all transitions and resave the project as .wmv and see it it helps.

  The text in the tool palette button to you referring
  the left side of the screen or one of... Display / text toolbar?

  In Vista... Zoom must be set to 100% to make the live button text.

  View / Zoom / Custom / 100%

  If you left click the 'A' in the palette tools and click left/drag
  a box in the position where you want the text... the bar of text tools
  should become alive.

  FWIW... the free Picasa software has better options for adding
  text of photos.

  (FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)

  If your just looking to make a simple model of your image, you would probably best results just by using Edit > use as motive:

  Put your image for the model on it's on layer, turn off all the other layers visibilty, Image > Trim > transparent Pixels, then change > as a reason.

  Then you can use layer > new fill layer > pattern to apply the model to an image.

  The designer is most useful if you need to make a transparent model on a more complex picture. (i.e. a selection of a portion of a photo)
