  What version of Windows 8 you have installed on your computer?

  The only thing I can think of that would cause the computer shut down every 2 hours would be if you have the Windows 8 Preview of consumers or the Windows 8 Preview version. These two operating systems were copies of the assessments only and were set to expire on 15 January and 16 January.

  My question says it all. I click on the new tab button and nothing opens. By clicking on the links will open a new tab, if necessary, or using "Open in new tab" seems to work very well.

  Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

When I designed the site in RapidWeaver 5, I put the titles in italics. But Firefox won't show titles in italics, although Chrome and Safari. I am running OSX 10.7 on a 2009 Macbook Pro (version 33.0.3 of Firefox). You have an idea how I can fix? RapidWeaver tech guys say that there is nothing wrong with my code.

  I don't know why this has changed, but I think that may be what caused it.

• Installation of new add-on doesn't work and causes some add-ons do not want to work more.

  When I tried to install an addon, it downloaded and tells me to restart Firefox, which I did. However, when I opened the menu of the addon, addon was not there. In addition, some (and some) addons like Adblock Plus, has stopped working. I tried reinstalling the addon, and she said that she had installed (with no need to reboot). I opened the menu addon again, and the addon was there and said it was activated, but it did not work. I have rebooted, deleted the addon, rebooted again and finally ABP started working again and everything was back to normal.   You can try to delete the extensions.* files in the Firefox profile folder right out of Firefox. To open the profile via Firefox folder: help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information > view folder.

  It would also be a good idea to install the extension or other extensions via Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > Add-ons, box top-right search, or AMO.

  You should also make sure that security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) are not interfering.

  If the problem persists, you can also reset Firefox and start over.
