Unable to complete the upgrade of windows windows 8.1 8

Could not complete the upgrade of windows window 8.1 8. I tried after you install the latest driver updates and clear the Cache of the Store. Error message 'could not update Windows 8.1 OxC1900101 - 0 x 2002007' ideas how to fix? Thank you

Hello

First, I would not use the store...

The installation media is available here, and you will only need to download once...

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

Just run to win 8...

Disable or uninstall preference any of 3rd party security program...

Disable any type of automatic backup program that may run...

If it still doesn't work, try unplugging your internet connection...

Also... You can remove the content from the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and make a filesystem on disk cleanup before trying again with new media...

If I read this correctly, you have a portable computer that do not have an operating system on it.  You try to install Vista and get the error.
You've restarted the Vista installation?  So then you get the same error? If you have tried to install more than once and continue to receive this error, check that the laptop is capable of Vista?  You may need to check with the manufacturer of the laptop to see if it is able to support Vista. • The upgrade to Windows 7 Professional Windows and not Windows 8?

I have Windows 7 on my computer. I bought an upgrade to Windows 7 Professional last year. When I try to update I get sent to Windows 8 upgrade. How can I get Windows 7 to Windows 7 Professional without buying an upgrade of Windows 8?

Is the Professional Windows 7, upgrade or an Express upgrade?

The first thing you need to do is to get your key to Windows 7 Professional upgrade Express:

An e-mail containing your product key will be sent to the e-mail address associated with your Windows Live ID account or e-mail address you provided if you ignored the account configuration. Note: If you use an email tool or spam blocker spam filter, be sure that you can receive e-mail messages from microsoft.com.

What happens if I lose my product key?

If you lose your product key, you can return to

www.Windows7.com/GetKey and sign in using the "Sign In" link in the upper right of the page. This will allow to recover your product key if you have established your account with your Windows Live ID. If you do not configure a Windows Live ID account initially there is no record of your online product key. Check your e-mail since it is the only trace of your product key.

    or

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:

If your computer is pre-installed with Windows 7:

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

-Samsung uses ESC on most of its systems

-HP use F9 on most of its systems

-Fujitsu uses F12 on most of its systems

-Acer use F12 on most of its systems, but often you need to go into BIOS to allow

    -Dell uses F12

In general, look at the screen during the POST for a tip for what is possible.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

  • Product key is not accepted after the upgrade in Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate.

I changed to a new computer that has windows 7 on it and I used my upgrade to ultimate but it will not take the proudct key.  I'm guessing that because he was on the old computer.  How do I just get a new key or change from the old computer?

I think that I wrote the wrong computers had windows 7 Home premium top and I used my upgrade to ultimate on both.  However the new said that this is not a valid product key for the upgrade.  How can I just get a new key?

Original title: I upgraded my computer to Windows 7 Ultimate, but it won't take my product key

If the new computer comes with Windows 7 Home Premium or another edition of Windows 7, just use the Windows 7 Ultimate product key and do an Express Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade from in the edition of Windows 7 you are now running on the computer.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and upgrade Express from Windows 7 to Windows 7 Ultimate edition. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

  • Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OS is unable to complete the installation.

Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit OS is unable to complete the installation.

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 of 2007 which came with Vista and has been updated 2 years later at 7 w. I had to reinstall 7 W... 3 or 4 times since 2010. I guess that my machine can't handle W7 very well.

My current problem started with a BSOD problem. After trying some suggestions Internet on how to solve this BSOD problem that did not work, including repair of Windows, I did a data back up mode without failure and then decide to reinstall Windows 7 from the MS CD. My level of understanding is limited, but as noted, I've done this before with success. What I didn't understand is there seems to be another unsolved problem which does not allow the complete reinstallation of windows.

I did a clean install, then a formatting and in both cases, W7 could not complete the installation. It progresses to the final stage of "complete installation" and then there is a second error message 1 that I can't read... "" a problem has been detected... close... "."  It seems to be a reboot loop.

I have since read that the original BSOD problem and the 'detected problem' could also well be linked to the display driver. And this driver it must be disabled before performing a Windows installation. But I'm not able to access Safe Mode or the control panel to turn it off. If this driver is the problem, is there another way to turn it off?

Or are there any other suggestions on how to complete the installation of the operating system?

    Thank you.

  • Is the complete software reinstallation required after the upgrade to Windows 10

    People,

I have Win 7 Professional and opted for the upgrade to Windows 10. I have a number of licensed, like MS Office software, complete Suite Adobe and Autodesk software, for which I have no media or installation Setup files.

My question is after upgrade, I have to reinstall everything on my machine or all these software installations will be kept? Because I lost track of the installation for all these software media, it will be very expensive for me to buy everything new. App 'Get Windows 10' has not reported any of this software.

This was one of the main reasons I couldn't move to Windows 8, reinstall all of these software are unaffordable for me.

I'd appreciate any help on this matter.

    Thank you

A ran the Windows 7 upgrade on a new laptop Sony Vaio with Windows Vista. After installation is complete laptop ran fine for 2 days.

Necessary to restart after trying to connect a new printer. Stop the laptop normally, but after a reboot would only boot to Windows Boot Manager.

The problem is that the upgrade of Windows CD I have is not start even if the DVD has been the first priority in the boot sequence.

If you are somehow able to boot from the installation DVD:

    1. Insert the DVD of Windows 7 and restart your computer
    2 boot from the DVD.
    3. choose your language and click Next.
    4. click on command prompt and try the following commands (they may or may not work):

    Bootrec /fixBoot
    Bootrec /rebuildBCD
