• Downloaded X 1 pro demo but don't want to buy it

  I downloaded the trial X 1 pro version and my trial is now in place. I don't want to buy it or use it. I just want to be able to open PDF files in the free version as I did before. Everytime I try and open a PDF file it pops up saying that I have to buy the pro version and won't let me open my files unless I do it.   When you open a PDF file, by default, it opens in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat trial is over, you get message to buy it. You do not want to purchase Adobe Acrobat, you can uninstall it from your computer.

  If you use Microsoft Windows, you can use Adobe Acrobat cleaning tool to remove Acrobat. The link to download the Acrobat cleaning tool is mentioned below:

  If you use MAC, then follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. close Adobe Acrobat

  2. go in/Applications/Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.

  3. double-click on the file "Acrobat Uninstaller.

  4. in the navigation window go in/Applications/Adobe Acrobat Pro XI / and select the file "Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  5. click OK and let the uninstall program is working.

  When Acrobat is removed, the PDF files will be opened in Adobe Reader installed on your machine. In case you do not have Adobe Reader, you can download it from the link: http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  Of course, you can upgrade RAM. Your laptop can handle with 4 GB of RAM. I do not know what HARD drive, you have inside but 120 GB is HDD larger than the use for this laptop model Toshiba, but I'm sure you can improve with more than 120 GB. Your laptop is a SATA HDD.

  I had to reinstall Vista last night after my computer started to report that there is no bootable devices found. It took most of the day to complete the fresh install. I had to download and install the Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2, which took about an hour each. And then finally, Windows update started downloading another 115 separate updates. Who has 'more' of time to install.

  Why Microsoft does not release a Service Pack 3 for Vista? Or better yet, why do they not release something like "Windows Vista: Final Edition" that you can buy and it just install and done with it.
