I forgot my password-Microsoft desktop 7

I changed my password for office and created a "family" of Privacy Office. In the meantime, I've forgotten my original password to my first office. but I remember my previous password. I am told that Micrsoft can help me to reset my password. Any help out there?

Other than what Arya S Asok said, there is no way on these forums to recover passwords, it's against the code of conduct.

You might be able to bring to a repairer and get it fixed... There's ways to do it, but whenever I do, I need a proof of purchase to ensure that it was not stolen (not that I think you stole a computer, just to say that I'm sure others will want something like that).

Reset the Microsoft connected account password

HP recommends using a Microsoft account connected (MSA) to log Windows. With a Microsoft connected account, you log in to Windows using your email address and the password can be reset using a different device at any time. You don't need a Hotmail e-mail address or Microsoft to put in place a connected account. Any email address works.

To reset your password for an INT account follow these steps:

Open an Internet browser and go to the Microsoft Web page to reset your password : https://account.live.com/password/reset.
Select I forgot my password, and then click reset password.
Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

When the password is reset, you will be able to use your Microsoft account with the new password to connect to Windows 10 and Windows 8. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet until you try to connect.

If you use a local user account HP cannot retrieve or reset your password if it is lost or forgotten.

HP strongly recommends to create a password reset disk to allow you to reset your password in case it is forgotten. If you don't have a password reset disk and can't remember your password, you will be directed by HP support to restore full original factory conditions and will lose all the data that was not backed up to an external location.

Create a password reset disk

To perform these steps, you'll need removable media (a USB flash drive).

Insert your removable media.
Open accounts by clicking theStart button, clicking Control Panel, clicking user accounts and family safety, and then clicking user accounts.
In the left pane, clickcreate a password reset disk, and then follow the instructions. Make sure that you store the disk to reset password in place safe.

Reset your password using the password reset disk

If you enter the wrong password when you attempt to log on, Windows displays a message that the password is incorrect.

Click OK to close the message.
Click reset password, and then insert your password reset disk or USB key.
Follow the steps in the password reset Wizard to create a new password.
Login with the new password. If you forget your password again, you can use the same password reset disk. You don't need to make a new.

Here are the usual methods to solve this problem:
- Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
- Logging in as a different admin account and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if create you an alternative admin account).
- Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you have activated the account administrator and know its password).
- Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have created such a keyfile).
- Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
If none of these standard precautions work for you, then the remedy will be painful. Post again if this is the case.

I have two computers, one that I can access to Microsoft.com home page and he recognizes who I am. I am installing Win8 on my other computer and it ask for my MS password I don't know what it is and it isn't a link "I forgot my password" that will allow me to reset it. When I go my computer which recognizes the MS, I can't find anyway to determine or to reset my password on the homepage of Ms. I looked at the FAQ list, but did not find what I needed. If I could determine or reset my password I could install Win8 on my other computer.
