  I forgot the password to the BIOS of my laptop and I put the laptop so that it requires a password, not only for the opening of the Setup utility, but even to boot. The most annoying is that I stay in Corfu now and I will stay there for another 2.5 weeks. So, I won't be able to use my laptop for the rest of my vacation if there is no solution to remove the password. It is horrible cause I bought primary laptop to have a computer on vacation.

  As far as I know you can t change the BIOS password by yourself, because it's a very complicated procedure. To do this you must contact your official service partner Toshiba. They should check, if the device is stolen or not.
  On the Toshiba site, you can find the right service partner.

  There are few things you can do if you have forgotten your BIOS password. The only effective way to reset it is to take the appliance to your nearest authorised Service partner who has the necessary equipment for re-flashing your BIOS chip. They generally must prove you your ship-owner of the laptop before it will change.

  You can find various utilities listed on some websites and also some means to bypass the BIOS password, but they are absolutely not guaranteed to work on most modern laptops.

  Steps to follow:

  1. use the posted above unlock code to access the BIOS

  2 disable all passwords that are enabled

  3. If the request for current password - enter the unlock code

  4. for the new password, simply press the ENTER key

  5. repeat the same thing to check the password column.

  6. then exit the BIOS saving & exit option to save the changes.

  Troubleshooting:

  Incase if the password does not work please try a Hard Reset as follows.

  1. power off the laptop

  2 disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery

  3. press the Power button for 30 seconds

  4. connect the power supply/AC adapter (leave the battery for now) & start Notepad

  5. If now see you a password, please enter the same password that I've shared before, & press on enter
