  I forgot the password to the BIOS of my laptop and I put the laptop so that it requires a password, not only for the opening of the Setup utility, but even to boot.   • When you are prompted, select System Restore.
  • Set up Windows to a point before you set the password.
  • Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key.
