I get the following message:-Firefox 35.0.0.5486 this new version of Firefox contains important security and bug fixes and page offers much improved making it
I have received several messages inviting me to download the software updates that I use. I think they are attempts to get help with phishing or such. The last "software update available" amplifies - "this new version of Firefox contains an important security and bug fixes, and much improved page rendering times offer." Is generated by anyone at Mozilla, or automatically in Mozilla? Mozilla distributes these types of messages? That Firefox is updated automatically, then these messages should have no useful function except to help with the download of some intrusive camera, which I did not need. Are there plug-ins that I should throw?
Upgrade to Firefox 35 is currently limited and not everyone gets the new update offered at this time.
If this is the case for you, then you can manually update via help > topic.

When I try to open a torrent using magnet, I get the following message. Firefox doesn't know how to open this address because the Protocol (loving) is not binding to any program.
I had this problem and just reinstalled Firefox. Problem solved. In my case, I believe that it is through the installation of FlashGet. Although I uninstalled FlashGet, it had outstripped the Magnet links / Protocol. I hope this helps you with your instance. Fortunately, I had Setup for my version of Firefox (7.0.1) registered and used that but you might need to search for your current version or install a later version

I can't access my hotmail account among some other sites since the upgrade to 3.6.8 on my macbook. I get the following message: "the proxy server refuses connections. Firefox is configured to use a proxy server refusing connections. Check the proxy settings to make sure they are correct. Contact your network administrator to make sure that the proxy server is running. "I can not even find the proxy settings more.
Windows: Tools > Options > advanced > network > settings
OSX: Firefox > Preferences > advanced > network > settings
Linux: edition > Preferences > advanced > network > settings
Set your settings to connect to the 'No proxy', if you are not using a proxy.Firefox 3.6.6 added a new preference for connection settings, use proxy Panel"system settings", and the default value is the point. " This new preference does not affect most users, because they probably do not have a proxy set in place in their operating system. Therefore, most users should use the setting "no proxy".

Whenever I open my computer I get the following message is displayed as a pop-up on the desktop: C:\PROGRAMA~2 Kodak\EasyShareSetup\$Regis~1\Registration_7.2.20.2.stx I don't have Kodak on my computer and I typed Kodak in the search above Start section and checked my programs.
How do I get this off of my computer? Any suggestions appreciated woul
I typed Kodak in search above to start section and checked my programs.
Instead do with msinfo32.exe to open system information. Then, in the Environment\Startup software do a find, category searches only for Kodak
Even better would be to use AutoRuns (utility system available on TechNet).

=====================================
MP3 files can be problematic in Movie Maker...
Best bet would be to convert the files to the. WMA
format before you import into Movie Maker. There are many converters available on the net... the
the following link is an example:(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)Format Factory (freeware)
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
(the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup295.zip<>
(FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)
(Windows XP / Vista / 7)First... after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
are converted)Drag and drop your music files on the main screen...
Select "while"WMA"/ OK...
Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...
That should do it...

Want to defrag and get the following message
I am trying to defragment my laptop and 86% by analyzing my gard drive, I get the following message "Te analysis has been canceled because an error occurred in a file: c:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware\ERRORS." JOURNAL ". I went to remove the anti-spyware program, and it is not listed. I don't know wat to do? Help?
Navigate to this folder. If it does not exist, then it could be malicious. You have installed Windows Defender? I think this is the directory of the program. If it is indeed that does not exist then try to uninstall with an uninstall program provided somewhere in this directory. Or use Add/Remove Programs, although I imagine you already tried that. If all else fails, download Defraggler, piriformis and defrag it. The error may still pop, but Defraggler should ignore and continue.

I get the following message when I login: "treatment of Message of Exception c0000013 parameters 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c". I hit Cancel and it appears 2-3 times more, I hit cancel each time.
I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002. I just loaded Service pack 3 as well as a few other updates.
Not sure if it's related, but thought I would mention it since others have mentioned the USB port. Since I got this computer, I always had two cords into the USB port on the back of my PC. When I want to synchronize my PDA photos or uplaod to my camera, I'll use these two cords pluggeed in my USBs. What is the problem? Too bad, it was working before SP3.
Also (probably unrelated), I had problems with Adobe Falsh Player. I'm trying to install an update and get always frozen. The system is configured to add not Add-Ins/Active-Xs without authorization by me, but it crashes whenever I try to give him permission. Is this related to the updates? After the problems started, I uninstalled Adobe Flash and it worked, but the relocation has not yet. (Many applications use this and it's VERY frustrating!)
Any suggestions would be helpful! Thank you...
Hi Mearth,
Thanks for posting. These issues occurred right after that you have loaded the SP3? Also when you say that you sign on, do you mean log in your computer?

When I try to open a game (Chess Titans, inkball, etc.), I get the following message: "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Chess\Chess.exe the specified path does not exist. Check the path and then try again. "Should I do to get my games back so I can play them? I've tried enabling/disabling of Windows features, but it did nothing. I also tried to go through the run, but that has not worked. And, I tried command prompt, but it says that I am not the administrator, who I am.
Not accessible games
I haven't had any changes consciously, and the games do not work in any user account. When I've done sfc/scannow (command prompt) he said that I was not the administrator. I could learn from another source to solve this problem - in the start menu, right click on the command prompt icon, and then click Run as administrator. Hope everybody help with this problem. If you do not have command prompt in your Start menu, any type of command prompt in your search box and it should appear.
Anyway, my games work now. Thank you
