  • 5.6 installation fails "the object already exists.

    I develop an aversion of Adobe CC IMPORTANT things...  Currently the CC on my system does not work.  Application manager does not, and nothing will install from there.

    For the month last I was installing the applications directly, and so far, it's WORKED WELL...

    I currently have LR 5.5 on the box.  I need to go to 5.6 LR.  I downloaded the file to 5.6 of the ProDesignTools EXACTLY THE way THAT I HAVE to DO for THE MONTH LAST.

    And he gets EXACTLY the same way I did for LR5.5, who WAS on the system until I tried to install 5.6...

    Begin the installation, has answered the questions, and it starts to install.  Can I get a popup that says: 'the OBJECT EXISTS ALREADY.

    In the installation window it SAYS it's "updating component registration.

    And, of course, LR 5.5 has been damaged so now I've got no. Lightroom...  And NO, 5.5 did re-install.

    Someone knows what's the problem THIS time?

    Hello

    I do not know what operating system you use, but if it's Windows there is a recent update of security for Windows Installer that has, in some cases, disabled the Setup program.

    The update is KB2918614 and you can see the description here: MS14-049: Description of the security for the Windows Installer Service Update: August 12, 2014

    You can uninstall via the search for Control Panel, see updates installed, to "KB2918614" in the search box select updates installed, and uninstall it and then see if that helps with the installation of 5.6

  • Cipher.exe object already exists error

    Hello, I had a customer bring a laptop Windows 7 Professional to the other day saying she has difficulty to create a folder that is encrypted for the work. Long story short is that it must have a file encrypted on the machine for this application to work and it must be able to use it for his job. She is the only user in its place with this question and their residents IT guy is as puzzled as I am.

    When I run "cipher /e s:test" or "cipher /e s:C:\users\naomi\test" cipher returns the error "the object already exists.

    It does no file encrypted on the computer, and to my knowledge, she has never tried to use encryption so far. I ran the System File Checker to see if she could be a problem with some files on the system, but no joy there.

    On the off chance that maybe their was something wrong with its key set so I tried to launch the /k option for him generate a new key and received the same error again.

    Thinking that maybe there was a problem in their user profile, I created a test called Administrator account and tried to use encryption for the new account and continue to receive the same object already exists error.

    Personally I have never seen this problem before and what research I did did not find me any useful results. Has anyone seen here this error before and know the cause or have any suggestions on what I might try next?

    Thank you

  • re-installation of iTune error, get"objects"already exists.

    To remove iTunes and reinstall the same, I was informed by System 7 Upgrade Advisor.  I uninstalled iTunes, but decided to not upgrade the system, due to some hardware problems.  When I try to re - install iTunes I get an error "object already Exists."  I had a similar problem a few months ago with the installation of any kind of software on the same machine.  Someone in the community suggested that the installer has been damaged by a update file.  The solution was to remove this file from update.  Unfortunately, I has not documented this event with care.  I do not think the current issue are the same anyway, because I downloaded other software with similar incidents.  When you try to win the support of Apple on the issue, they advise their archives are not familiar with this issue, that I'll probably get the installation of other software, and I have to contact Microsoft Support.  MS has no obvious trace of that particular difficulty.  Anyone out there have any suggestions?  Thank you for your kind attention.

  • I deleted two e-mail accounts in my iMac (El Capitan). I have reinstalled the first without problem. When I tried the second, I got an error message that the account already exists. Any suggestions?

    I deleted two e-mail accounts in mail on my iMac (El Capitan). I have reinstalled the first without problem. When I tried the second, I got an error message that the account already exists. Any suggestions?

    First of all, make sure that you don't have two accounts with the same address. What happens if one of them is an iCloud account.

    From the Mail menu bar, you select

    ▹ Connection Doctor window

    In the window that opens, look for an SMTP (outgoing mail) account with a name that corresponds to the account that you are trying to add. Double-click it. Another window opens, displaying the list of all outgoing mail accounts. Click the sign button less to remove the corresponding one, and then click OK.

    Try to add the email account again. If you still can not, log off or restart the computer, and then open the preferences window accounts Internet and check if the account is displayed.

  • ApplicationPermissionsManager get "object already exists" IllegalArgumentException

    I have the following code on a storm running OS 4.7:

    Permanent ApplicationPermissions = new ApplicationPermissions();

    perms.addPermission (ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INTERNET);

    ApplicationPermissionsManager permMgr = ApplicationPermissionsManager.getInstance ();

    If (perms.difference (permMgr.getApplicationPermissions () .length! = 0) {}
    permMgr.invokePermissionsRequest (perms);
    }

    When I run this code the first time I install my application, invokePermissions() throws an IllegalArgumentException, and I see a pop error dialog box saying "the item already exists."  The application seems to work normally after that.  Y at - it something I do to cause this error, or is this a bug in BlackBerry OS?

    The fundamental problem was that I wonder the thing first authorizations in main() for CLDC app with multiple entry points.  Apparently the operating system does not support multiple applications at the same time.  The solution was to take an entry point and don't have this one do the permanent checks.

  • C:\windows\ayofeworit.dll the specific module could not be found, the message pops up when loading office

    C:\windows\ayofeworit.dll the specific module could not be found, the message pops up when loading office

    Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.
    There is very little. DLL files that should be loaded from the C:\WINDOWS folder and is not one of them.  If you can't find a good explanation for the name of the file in a Google search, re chances while your system is currently or has been infected with malicious software.

    A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.

    It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.
    Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
    So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.

    You must be sure to solve the problem and not just fix the symptom of the problem by simply relieving your message - system is not a fix (there is a difference).

    If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool.  Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration.  Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem.
    If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.  The problem can always be found in the registry well.
    Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit.
    Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
    You can also use the Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding.  Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
    Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
    When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information
    .  You are really interested only a few sections.
    The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.
    Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
    If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.
    You can also click file, search to search for logon, or any tab for all or part of the name of the element.
    Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove.  If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns shall display the same information however.
    Given that you had or have an infection, followed with this:
    Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:
    Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
    They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
    Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

    There are a few rules of trade more that you need to consider.

    Do not forget that there are synonyms both PUBLIC and PRIVATE.

    Just because there is a synonym of a given name does NOT mean it's the only one who tries to create a given user. If a user tries to create a synonym private, you need see if the OWNER and the NAME, the two match.

    What is a user issuing a CREATE or REPLACE for their own private synonym? Is this OK or who need help also?

  • Files already exist when reconnecting probably missing files

    I'm fighting to clean up hundreds of files in my database of the PSE Organizer.

    Whenever I launch reconnect it all the command (or any other command that requires a reconnection first), PSE locates a large group of likely the missing files. Dialogue to "Reconnect missing files" of the PSE shows me the former location of the files. I navigate to this place and find files always there. I then select the file and press on reconnect. Unfortunately, then I get an error that says: "the file already exists in the catalog. This clears the problem of file missing for the moment. However, when I run another missing file check, he'll still find these same files. I tried to plug back them several times but PSE continues to tell me that they must be reconnected but still know where the files are located.

    I have already run a database repair (no not found errors).

    I also ran an optimization of database without problem.

    Some system information:

    • Win7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
    • Dell XPS computer i7
    • 6 GB of RAM. > 350 GB of free space on hard drive
    • PSE 12... but also had the same problem on PES 11. I've updated hoping that the problem would be solved. It wasn't.

    Thanks for any help to eliminate this problem for me.

    -Bruce

    I solved my problem... even if I don't know what caused it or why Adobe program didn't fix for me.

    The "missing" entries that have been highlighted were all the duplicate entries. Adobe will not allow a duplicate in the same physical file entry. I deleted all of the offending entries and it cleared my problem. I hope this solution helps others.
