• Installation of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on PC Windows 10 - Patch problem

  A quick check of my Adobe account reveals that I purchased Abobe Acrobat IX (9) Pro in 2010, and then either purchased or upgraded to XI (11) Pro level in 2013.  These were installed on a PC running Windows 7.  I recently bought a PC running Windows 10 / 64-bit and want to reinstall Pro XI.  I did a fresh download of the installer Pro XI.  However, when I tried to install it, I get an error message saying "this patch package could not be opened.  Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package. "Can someone help me solve this?  Some things to note:

  • I'm not sure if the XI (11) Pro in 2013 was a completely new software package or just an upgrade of the IX (9) Pro software.  If the latter, I should install IX (9) first Pro?
  • I am currently using the Microsoft Edge browser that comes with the PC running Windows 10.  I don't know if it meets the conditions for the installation of XI (11) Pro https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/system-requirements-acrobat-family-products.html.

  Unfortunately, it did not work.  I opted for a subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC which has installed without any problem and seems to work correctly.

• Error message when opening and saving in Adobe Acrobat Pro ms

  Hi, whenever I open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I get this error message:

  "AcroCEF.exe - Application error.

  "The application could not start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application. »

  If I click on it several times, it disappears. If I try to save a file that I open, I get the error message and there is no evidence in the record window.

  It's a Windows 7 32-bit machine and the Acrobat DC 2015.009.20071 version, which is apparently the latest version.

  I tried a few solutions limited help, that I found online, but nothing seems to work.

  AcroCEF.exe call services in line with Acrobat. If you experience this problem even after unchecking the options of storage for opening & save a PDF file to the cloud and then try to reinstall the application after you have removed using Acrobat cleaning tool.

  I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.4.3.

  PDF-print has always worked a lot, but all of a sudden, there is some kind of problem.

  After you print a "Print to PDF" built-in excel document in MacOS or Adobes printer I have PDFs corruptet when showing them in Adobe Reader/Acrobat, but MacOS software preview shows them correct.

  So there can't be any problem with printing, but the local preview on my computer using Acrobat or Reader. I don't even use the Myriad in document police, I use Verdana.

  

  You say you use Verdana, but you're not. The error message clearly indicates that you use MyriadPro "BOLD".

  You probably recently installed Mac OS X 10.6.7 update that has a bug with OpenType PostScript as "BOLD" MyriadPro fonts. Use the Verdana or another font TrueType or PostScript, or come back to Mac OS X 10.6.6.

  I had Acrobat Pro 9 version works fine under Snow Leopard, but since the upgrade to the first Mavericks then Yosemite there problems. I ran it under Snow leopard Server and parallels but after some problems, you have to reinstall and I can't find an appropriate installation file.

  I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on my PC (part of the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard - version upgrade). Although I'm not able to upgrade Adobe CS3 to CS6, I believe that it is possible to update Acrobat 8 Pro to the latest version.   The serial number for my existing Acrobat upgrade version begins with 1118-xxxx, although the registered version of Adobe Creative Suite 3 upgrade begins with a different suffix.

  If I buy the upgrade to Acrobat 8 Pro, told me that I can put the new upgrade drive in my new PC and will be asked my previous serial number (1118-xxxx, etc.). Once this is all going to work on my new PC and I don't have any software on my PC's previous owner. Is this correct?

  In, click general categories

  Uncheck the option 'Show when saving files from storage online'

  Click Ok
