Hello

I'm sorry, but when you did the recovery of the system you have disabled your hard drive of everything, including your files.

You now have a new computer.

You can try this program (it's free) to see if he 'can' find and recover your files. no guarantee:

See you soon.

p.s., read the thread here where there is a similar problem to yours and they recovered 1/2 their records;

    When I look at the disk (on the computer) I see drives C: and RECOVERY (Y)

  • Do I have to select delete using Disk Clean-Up to correct the winsxs problem of scanning.

    I know this question was asked by many and I tried different patches. (File Checker system, the disk cleanup - but do not know what that should be deleted that it can fix) Do I have to select delete using Disk Clean-Up to correct the winsxs problem of scanning.

    The only thing I'm wondering: what is the cause of the accident of the Winsxs folder while scanning?
    As stated in other threads, winsxs folder causes the scan hangs any scanner is used. Is it because of the size of the folder? What is a particular problem in the folder?
    The file it crashes on changes each time and that makes it more difficult to identify the exact problem.

    If the problem is directly on the winsxs folder and not the compromised computer with virus, malware, etc... There will be a fix to it by Microsoft? Or if the problem is not related to the Microsoft Windows software?

    I just want to be sure that the crash of the scanner is not due to viruses, software, malware or any other infection.

    Hello

    No it resets just the Windows Components update, do not recharge updates.
    See the information on the links. Just to make sure that other resources
    as the registry are configured correctly to allow the update. It is '' possible. ''
    that an update can be reapplied after running but this is rare and not
    probably for more than a few. New click the link for more information.

    Personally I have not use the clean tool component if the choice is

    Windows component clean tool

    The component of Windows Cleanup tool (COMPCLN.exe) allows you to delete the files that are archived after Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2 is applied. It also removes the files that were archived after Windows Vista SP1 has been applied, if they are on the system. Running this tool is optional.

    Installation of service packs of Windows Vista increases the amount of disk space used by the operating system. This space is used to archive files so that the service pack can be uninstalled. As a general rule, you must run COMPCLN.exe if you want to recover this disk space after applying SP2, and you won't need to uninstall SP2. After you run this tool on an image, you cannot uninstall Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2.

    This tool can be used online or offline.

    Option Description

    /? or /h

    Displays this list of command-line options.

    cent: [chemin_repertoire_windows_hors_connexion]

    Specifies the path to the Windows directory of the Windows partition in offline mode.

    / quiet

    Runs in quiet mode. No console output is provided.

    / Hide

    Hides all packages (service pack) that are cleaned.

    verbose/Verbose:

    Provides additional diagnostic data in the log file.

    Important
    Once completed, you will not be able to remove Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2008 SP2 from the computer online or offline.

    I hope this helps.

  • Brought back to the factory lost Ms one note

    Recently, I came across a player called Q on my computer and it couldn't access the drive, I followed some advice on an online form, nothing will do. One post suggested I back up my computer and bring back the computer as long as the plant. I hesitated because I couldn't afford to lose my computer. I backed up my computer on a Transcend 500 GB hard drive. For some reason when the computer a setback for my HD Transcend factory has been unable to bring the majority of my computer and only recovered back some documents and photos, lost all my docs in a single note and not really why. I talked to a guy at the shop where I bought my computer and told me once he goes back to the factory that went but I am convinced that it is recoverable, but for some reason, I was told, they are unable to do this and my only notes have disappeared. For some reason, they were unable to start off my Transcend hard disk and my a note was not accessible. So I am completely screwed out of everything I have in a note from Microsoft now? Transcend seems pretty useless after that because he created everything in a backup on the hard disk, but does not allow access to recover this. I was told to buy Norton Ghost, this operation can take a picture of the system, but Transcend image is inaccessible for any reason system.

    I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Windows 7 64 bit

    A reader of Q is used by Office click to launch products, generally Office Starter and partition, Q, is not accessible to the end user.

    His is not entirely clear if you have saved by using windows backup or if you have used a Transcend utility and how to recover your data depends on what use you to save in the first place

    Norton Ghost are any other imaging utility won't help recover your data

    Once a PC is restored to factory state you lost everything that was originally on the PC, although if the recovery created a windows.old folder, you will be able to recover your data originally saved in the default location for Documents

  • Can I go back to the factory setting after a new product windows, was intalled

    Windows 7 was installed on my computer (unbeknownst to me) by my friend to kid. I get this thing say activation has expired, and I need a product key. A friend don't know where is the Moose package, so I'm stuck either with the purchase of a product key that is over $ 100 or I wanted to know is any way to restore my system to window Vista? I don't have a CD as Vista is already installed when I purchased computer.

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • Setting up Deskjet 6988 for wireless printing after a reset to the factory settings, using Mac OS 10.8
    Hi - How re - connect to my printer wirelessly after a reset to the factory settings? I use Mac OS 10.8. The network on the printer flashes, and on the Mac, it is listed as "not connected". And the page of report confirms that he has lost all of its data.
    Fortunately, I made a report page before resetting, so I think that I know all of the critical information, I need to come back here, but I can't figure out how to do this.
    I read the installation guide, who said to use an ethernet cable and the CD of HP, but I don't have the CD anymore.
    I tried an ethernet cable and entering the IP address of the printer, but which did not, perhaps because it has more this IP address.
    I tried the steps hereand downloaded the latest version of the HP update software software, but I don't see my printer. I went from my wifi to hpsetup network and then I could see and add a second new instance of my printer, but it did not help, because this second instance of the printer is not connected or the other.
    Interestingly, when I am connected to hpsetup, I can print.
    Can someone help me to re - connect this printer? I'll save the reason for reset for another post!
    Thank you very much!
    FIXED! Sunshyne2005, thanks a lot to direct me to the solution!
    Here's what worked:
    1. Connect to hdsetup
    2. Press the report Page button on the printer (the one with the box)
    3. Continue with step 3 of the Sunshyne2005: open a browser and enter the IP address of hdsetup.
    4. Look around for the wireless configuration wizard (sorry, I can't access is no longer hdsetup, and I just don't remember where it is)
    5. Enter the SSID (name) of the wireless network and the password
    6. Note: You will see a button to finish, but it has no effect. At this point, the printer is successfully added to the wireless network and access the hdsetup disappears. Therefore, the wizard will no longer work, but the important thing is that the printer is connected. : )
    Thanks again, Sunshyne2005!
  • My husband installed windows 7 and I don't like it at all. I want to go back to my factory settings and do not know how to do this. Help, please!
    I have a Hewlett Packard and my husband has windows 7 installed top and
    I do not like.  I want to go back to the original settings and I
    don't know nothing about it.  Please help me.
    New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
    This is how the recovery partition is available for the most popular brands
    For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device
    For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device
    For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward
    For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo
    For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.
    Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"
  • Windows 7 and bios sees not the hard drive, but when I connect the hard drive to the USB with an adapter, I see directories and files
    Please, I need pc
    Original title: windows 7 and bios does not see the hard drive. but when I connect the hard drive to the USB with an adapter, I see directories and files... Ive a hp Pavilion, what to do?
    Check the BIOS for hard drive setting.
    Make sure that you do not connect the drive to a SATA/RAID port.
    Old IDE drives - check the jumper on the drive (use "Cable Select" as a starting point), the BIOS must also be set in legacy/compatibility/IDE mode. Note: If you currently use the AHCI mode, then switch to IDE mode may cause Windows to boot.
