  • Problems with Windows XP Pro to Windows Vista computer networking

I'm totally frustrated. I got a home network that worked with a PC running Windows XP Home and a laptop running Vista Basic. Then, I added a PC running XP Pro and it has added to the network. He works for a while and I was able to share files and printers. Then all of a sudden I can't access Windows XP Pro PC to Vista Basic laptop and get the following message:

"\\PC1\My documents is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Not enough server storage is available to process this command. »

I tried the solutions for the "memory insufficient servier" problem but none of them are working and none of them address the element of authorization. Vista Basic laptop can still access the XP computer at home and the XP Pro computer can access the Vista Basic laptop but the laptop Vista Basic responds with the above message whenever I try to open the files on the XP Pro computer.

I tried to reconfigure the network from the Vista Basic laptop, but every time I have save the setup.exe on a flash drive network and then try to run is one of the PC Windows XP he says the information is not readable, and I need to rerun the Configuration Wizard from the network on the original computer. When I try to reverse the process by running the Configuration Wizard from the network on XP computers then the Vista laptop, he fails and suggested that I have configure the network manually. I'm sick of this. Can anyone help.

  • have a pc with windows xp pro installed. can I reinstall the same cd?

I've given nine pc with Genuine Windows XP Pro pre-installed.  I need to reinstall it. I have same as installed cd. Can I reinstall this cd?

Sure. As long as you have the key to refurbished product for PC and the CD is the same if it is OEM version by the manufacturer.

If it's a retail CD, probably will not work with the OEM key.

  • I have a problem with Windows XP to display upward as not authentic.

I have xp pro and use it for years, I now get a legal copy not on my screen. I went in what I thought was the microsoft support and they tried to charge me $250.00 to fix my problems according to a scan. It was really omnitech support.

Can anyone help? I don't know if I've been had or what. I have a code on my computer case, but it is different from what is on my version of windows.

I can't get anyone at Microsoft, except auto answer that have nothing to do with my problem.

I have used this program for years and just the notice on a few days ago.

I'm operating a 32 bit PC. Windows XP Pro OS. Not even computer savvy when it comes to setting.

    Hi Fred,.

If you have another key product than the numbers shown above, you can enter the code with the product key update tool.
    You will find it here:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/genuine/product-key#T1=Tab03

Just select Windows XP in the top line and download the file under point 1.
Run the program and enter the product key. After that a reboot of the system must be activated successfully, if the key is valid.

  • Problems with Windows 7 Pro Remote Access

I'm on a Windows 7 Pro machine, but it is connected to a working network.

I'm trying to access Windows 7 Pro machine to my parents at home.

I went through These Instructions.  We have created a password for one of the user accounts.  I checked the name of the computer (there is no listed area).  We confirmed that remote access has been enabled and allow remote access has been verified in the firewall settings.

However, when I start "Remote Desktop connection" on my computer and put their computer name in the box, I get a message that it cannot find the computer.  Then, the message indicates that the computer cannot belong to "the network specified."  But there is no specified network, and I see no where to do it.

In addition, it is possible that my work security settings prevent me from remote accessing another computer?

Last question: if I used the Fusion of the virtual machine on my Mac, with Windows 7, I can remote access to another computer?

Real technique.  The problem boils down to the IP address.  Your computer probably has an IP of 192.168.1.8 or something like that.  But the router any fact domestic in the world.  So when you want to connect to the remote computer, you must use the IP public face (which the internet service provider home assigns to your router/home, not that of your router assigns to your computer).  But then, you're always short because now you have at home, but you have to tell the House what PC actually send this letter too.  It's like an envelope with an address half. Port forwarding it tells the final step which PC should receive the message.

But yes I agree they could at least put a link or an explanation.

  • 2013 Outlook send/receive problems with Windows 7 Pro

    Hello

I have been using Outlook 2000 with Windows XP Mode in Windows 7 Pro.

I just bought Office 2013 Plus and I'm trying to set up my email accounts, using the same settings as my Outlook 2000 and use the same Outlook 2000 .pst file.

The 2013 Outlook is installed in my side Win 7, not in XP Mode.

I tried to uninstall/install my accounts e-mail several times and always get the following errors:

    Sending - 0X8004210B

    Home - 0 x 80040154

I'll put my email as POP3 accounts

Does anyone know what would be the problems? I went through a lot of discussion and many users have the same problems as mine. However, I tried several solutions suggested and none of them work.

Suggestions or comments are much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    OK, I got it fixed.

I did a REPAIR of Office 2013 and then did a restart. When I started Outlook, accepting them and sending work properly without any problem.

I don't know why didn't think about it at first.

I guess that sort of Office Outlook and Office was damaged and needed to be repaired. But it's a brand new facility (two days ago). I guess that things can happen even with a new facility.

Thank you, Ken, for your kind replies.

  • I have a problem with Windows accepts only not the connection password.

Original title: why have I lost my windows login password?

    Hello
It's strange. Suddenly, I found that my Windows 7 login password is more accepted. Of course I made sure that caps lock is not on, typed correctly, etc. I have made no changes in the system and have had the same connection for more than a year.
I restored it with system restore (good to enter Safe Mode was not easy... topic for another time).
So now I'm back to normal and created a password on a flash drive recovery disk.
But, why or how would it happen?
    Very curious.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

    Jack

If you were able to get in Mode safe without logon then automatic logon mode must have previously been activated.

To find out what happened to your password you could do this:
    1. Log in under your spare admin account.
    2. Click on the globe to start, and then type the three letters cmd into the search box and press ENTER.
    3. Enter the following command and press ENTER:
      NET user 'Jack '.
The command will tell you everything about the account of Jack, for example when the account of the last use and what was his password has changed. This implies, of course, that you have a fully tested alternative admin account. Having one would have saved you perform a system restore, even as having a spare House key removes the need to break a window...
  • Problems with windows 7 pro download oem link

    Hello?

I have a dell latitude laptop and oem striker and I've lost my windows 7 pro recovery dvd, I'm lost and I can't find a legal iso copy, even in the dell website

    can you help me please

Your best option is to ask Dell recovery media:

    Reference Dell
    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/DellCare/en/backupcd_form?c=us&l=en&s=Gen
    1-800-624-9896

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.
It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.
Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:
How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?
Make sure you scroll down and read the section:
What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?
