I have a problem with Microsoft Silverlight on Vista.
My problem is that I don't even know what is Silverlight, or how I had and whenever Vista asks me to allow or not allow Silverlight my computer freezes and I have to restart the computer. This seems to happen almost every time that I try to open an attachment or try to send a new email.

I have a problem with printing on Windows Vista.
I have HP desktop with Microsoft Vista operating system. The printer I have is HP Laser Jet P1006. 1 months ago about the computer wouldn't print or download an attachment to an email. I uninstalled the printer and re-installed, but the problem persists.
What happened, it was this. With an email (from gmail.com or hotmail.com) once I clicked 'print', the normal menu for printing that should go up. I went through the system to my PC and while watching the programs installed in the Control Panel, I noticed several strange programs I don't remember installing. I have just suffered the wrath of a restoration complete in October, Yes, it was terrible. Anyway, how can I know if the installed programs are useful or harmful to my PC? They are legitimate programs? If legit, are necessary or simply make my PC run slow? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I can't really experience the collapse of PC that I just went through.
In addition to the above PC problem... recently when I boot my PC, Microsoft Security Essentials - REAL PROTECTION IS ALWAYS TURNED OFF TIME? I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it twice... maybe, I missed a step. In any case, there has never been that big red "X" showing the real-time protection is disabled and my PC is at risk? Problem with Microsoft silverlight with MAX

I am trying to connect laptop directly to Compact Rio 9073 and trying to figure out the IP through Max first time, MAX shows not all of the parameters because he know that "you must install microsoft silverlight..." Ok... I downloaded and now it says something errror script on the web page (due to the installation of silverlight?)
I've tried versions of silverlight 4 and 5. The system is Windows XP and the version of labview 2009.
Any help, please?
What version of MAX do you have? If you have a version 4.7, I strongly suggest upgrading to 5.0.
