  Have you tried to uninstall Service Pack 3, restart the computer and restart the clips?  They work then?

  If so, reinstall the SP3 and perform the following steps

  Visit the site of the manufacturer of the video card driver updates

  Open the Device Manager

  Right-click on the video driver and select Update driver

  Right click on the driver and select uninstall

  Restart the computer

  Windows will reinstall the drivers

  Movie Maker has problems with the .mpg files... best bet would be
  to convert the .mpg files before importing the .wmv format.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Music - wma, wav, .wmv

  Use the program youre using this tuner. Change to whatever you have plugged in (perhaps S-video or something). Video capture of Movie makers is usually for FireWire cameras / maybe USB. But not a USB tuner

• After you have installed the Windows updates, my computer does not recognize that there is a disc in the DVD - ROM thing

  I had this problem for weeks and only recently someone told me that it is perhaps for this reason.
  I tried several things to fix, and one of those who created an error where when I clicked on drive E in Windows Explorer, it looks like:

  E:\ application not found

  So, in the end, I wiped my computer and everything on it and rebooted again.

  IT TOOK FOUR HOURS.

  So, I've set up the computer as I did when I got it 2 years ago, and everything was fine. I could insert a disc, it reads that and I was able to install my game, no problems.

  Now, I have reset everything up, and there are more than 2000 updates to update installed. So I did.

  SO NOW, after all this, which took another TWO HOURS - he does not all disks again.

  I play the Sims 3 - fiercely - and so I tried to re - install all my expansion packs, but it does not now.

  I DON'T want to make that whole process again and install all my games before updating Windows, because I believe, even if I did that, once I've updated, I can't play the game, because my laptop does not recognize that the game disc is there.

  • I imported a few video clips for Windows Video Maker and when I played against them on the timeline, they played very well, but when I started working on a project and added the clip on the timeline the clip played to halfway through and then the clip is cut off from himself and played the tree in this way the rest of the clip or just froze altogether but the timer continued. At first, I thought, there might be something wrong with the clip so I imported another copy of the clip, but he kept repeating the same problem with all versions of the clip that I imported.
