I have a Yahoo Search bar acting as a tab App that I can't get rid of. There is no option to unpin when I right click on it.
I have a yahoo search bar, which was installed during a download and the installation of a http://gtopala.com/of SIW.exe system information application. This is the freeware version which is add-based software. However I wasn't expecting that the search function would be such a nusance and interfere with the functions of Firefox.
The search bar behaves as a tab App that I cannot move or get rid of. There no option to pin the object when I right click on the bar or to modify it in any way using the function 'group your tab' to the right of the tab toolbar.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

Hello
You have discovered a problem with Windows 7. To resolve this problem, I recommend a program called FileMenu Tools. You can download the portable freeware from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/System/System-Enhancements/FileMenu-Tools-Portable.shtml .
After having downloaded and installed the program, you will notice that, by default, each option is checked. I would be much more selective on this subject, otherwise your context menu will be a full page long! When the main window opens, you will see a list on the right side of all the elements that can be added to the context menu. Start weeding through the list and every one to take away, you don't need the United Nationsby checking the box.
Once you have completed your selection (de-selections) make sure that you click the green check mark in the row of icons at the top of the left window of the interface to 'Apply' of your choice. The program can do much more, but that answers your specific question. I am told that the program has a good help file, so try here if you are interested.
Let me know if this solves the problem for you.
Kind regards

I have a program called automotive service, it shows no source and I can't remove it, I suspect a problem
The only results of a Google search for "Autocare" to bring up links to a legitimate program called Autocare, apparently to have something to do with the car maintenance. Without knowing more about your computer and find out where you see the program what exactly 'impossible to remove that' means (have you uninstall it? it is even installed?), all I can say, is that you perform the fundamental step to ensure that your computer is free of viruses/malware first:
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware
If you can't do the work yourself (and there is no shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea), take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). If possible, have all your data backed up before taking the machine into a shop. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

My hotmail contacts folder has been consulted for my contacts spam. I know that I can change my password/details etc. It's an account that I used a few years ago came as a request of hotmail if I may want this account related to the one I use now. Stupidly, I agreed. I have no way to access this account, but I can see on my account from windows live that it is connected to my checking account. I think it's my problems are coming from. Someone knows how can I UN-link and preference to totally delete this account?

I have a tree without end of links that I can't get rid of
A few days ago I tried to use robocopy to do a backup of my "User" folder on another laptop computer in network. Unfortunately, I forgot to use the /XJD. switch Now I have a 500 GB drive that is saturated due to an endless loop of records "Application Data" nested in the other with a casual Adobe folder thrown in. I tried to manually delete the directory tree but get him "...". path is too long.. "error in Windows. I get similar questions in a command prompt cmd by using RD (remove directory).
I tried to use the script at the address, use robocopy again to remove the folder through /mir below switch structure. Yet once, it failed after 12 min due to the track being too long. Whenever I run the batch file, the run time keeps getting shorter and I am always left with a folder tree without end of the 'Application Data' folder. I managed to release 100 GB in this way, but I still could not get rid of the folder.I would like to avoid formatting the drive as he always gave him on it that I want and no place to put it right now. If I have to format the drive, just wait until I can pick up a spare part in the future to move the data off the coast.Does anyone have a suggestion how to remove this link of circular reference directory?script: http://www.windowsitpro.com/article/tips/jsi-tip-9651-how-can-i-delete-a-folder-that-returns-path-too-long--84207Hey Joe,

I've done a few things:
(1) I checked the updates in the App Store. Nothing obvious jumped.
(2) I tried to restart everything again. No luck.
(3) I checked System > Library > CoreServices > Firmware updates. It is empty.
Not sure why it does this. But really want to stop. It makes reboot take an extra + 30 seconds, at least.
