I have added fire fox to 35.0.1 02/10/2015
When I'm on a web page like yahoo, fox news, etc... etc... There are more no social media 'like' or 'share' buttons for stories and articles, pictures and things like that
Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- Click the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:
- On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
- On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension (in your case, this could be Adblock Plus), theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

I used to use Skype to call directly from firefox. Double click on the number. It has stopped working. Support told me to allow the compatibility reporter, but now, I still get the error that I explained in the question
This is an indication that the Skype extension does not work properly.
You can force an extension to install, but this does not mean that the extension works, you need to delete Skype and wait for an update. -
Have Fire Fox 33 and need to know what version of UBUNTU to be compatible?
Have four hearts and plenty of room on the side of the memory and 33 running for yahoo and I want to go to union UBUNTU OS/Fire Fox. What version of it is compatible with 33? 32-bit, 64-bit, or what number of UBUNTU's downloads I need to run? Thanks for any help and have a good one, deedeest111
Mozilla has 32-bit and 64-bit Linux built as you can see at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Unlike with Windows, you must have enough current some packages in order to use Firefox. So any release Ununtu in recent years must manage current Firefox. As you can see the demands of 33.1 is the same since 17.0

Don't I have the latest version of Fire Fox?
How will I know if I have the latest version of Mozilla Fire Fox?
deliciousfudge, that wouldn't work since Firefox 16.0 minor updates are not reflected in the useragent. The 32.0.3 Firefox will always show as 32.0 for example.

Pandora radio is not working properly, they say I have to upgrade to a newer version of Fire Fox. Fire Fox very little makes it clear on how to do it. I'm not a computer genius! I have an outdated version. Summer
You are using Firefox 3, which is the previous major version. The current version is Firefox 7. I'm not familiar with your Facebook plugin, so I don't know if it is compatible. If it isn't, Firefox will automatically tell you and ask you if you want to check the updates. You can download the installer of Firefox 7 by clicking here.

where is the directory of documents in fire fox
I have used IE before, but I switched to Mozilla Fire Fox. I'm looking for the directory Documents from Fire Fox so I can move documents
Since the inside officeHmm, Firefox is a directory of Documents. If you need a place for items on your desktop, I suggest using your regular Documents folder (a Windows creates for you). To move documents, you can use Windows Explorer, I suggest to pin to the Windows taskbar. They shortened keyboard is: hold down the Windows key and tap the E key.
About directories in Firefox:
- By default, Firefox saves your downloads in your downloads folder. You can change this in the Options page if you wish: boot, homepage, tabs and download settings. But the internal list of downloads of Firefox won't show what Firefox has added to this folder, and not that you moved to the folder from your desktop.
- Firefox saves your settings and history in a profile folder. If you are interested in the details, please see this article: profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. I do not recommend put other files in there, like Firefox can occasionally clean the folder and you risk losing them.
Overall, Firefox is more oriented to browsing websites that it is towards browsing the files on your computer. Due to security rules and differences in the way Firefox integrates with applications, I don't think that you will find it as useful as Windows Explorer for these purposes.

I always use rev 31. This is the last version that is compatible with the add-in on, "Multicolumn Bookmarks 1.5', I have several brands of books collected over the years and the single column format is frustrating and not helpful."
Asked to provide a current version, which is compatible with "MultiColumn Bookmarks 1.5' Fire Fox, or provide a favorite navigable multi-column as option display in a near future program revision Fire Fox.»
Sincerely,
Pierre Arnold
Sorry, to complete the thought:
(1) install Stylish from the Mozilla Add-ons site
https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/
(2) then back to the user page of style to get the style (the button should be green instead of blue right here)

Forget the button against the history value delete when closing Fire Fox
I have FF value delete browsing history all whenever I close Fire Fox, which is common. In addition to the fact that there is a delay in the suppression of history until closed FF is the Forget button more in-depth than my current method of deleting the history. The history is also deleted by Norton Utilities, whenever I run optimization NAKED at least once a day?
Your question looks like it's to ask if the Forget button is more thorough than the deletion of all close. I think it's just the latest is automatic and forget the button is for those who want to do it with Firefox always open. They do the same thing but even thoroughly.

Fire Fox is a Devourer of data
All of a sudden, FF (38.0.5) on Mac OS X Yosemite is sucking down nearly 2 GB of data per day. I have lost/3 GB on a data plan of 5 GB in 6 days. Who steals my flow? I checked through Activity Monitor on Mac and found Firefox to be by far the largest user of network data, and the same is reflected on my Android phone. Please help me to learn how to get inside Fire Fox and strip out / stop this code responsible for this flight. I may be old school (A + and Network + cert for life in 2001), but I can learn.
Is there a way to "simply" FF data operations, as to minimize the complex data for download on the computer from web pages by pushing a data-rich content?
Thank you.
COR - el, I thank you for your reply, but that wasn't it. It's FACEBOOK. He could shoot down 3-8 MB each time I looked to see a new reply or new post. I finally thought to it. I ended up changing to m.facebook.com, works without requiring a mobile device user agent looking for mobile versions of any web site I frequent regularly. The data rate went from as much as 500-800 MB, in one day, at about 120-140 MB, in an entire day. Now, in the future, I have more space to download books I use in my research that I do now.
Is it true that using a mobile device user agent still does not prevent Web sites send to your browser, all of the content before it gets returned to mobile view? I found that the use of such an agent does not solve the problem of the use of data. The best way to do this was to use a mobile version of a website, and now I don't have to watch my surfing more closely, even though I've been watching the activity monitor closely to see how my actions affect the data rate.
Thank you.
Because I complained the limitations of the data and how they don't have a plan of 8 GB, they cut the data used TWICE of what I see in the measure of data consumption.

Why the nodes are placed on web sites that I discovered with fire fox but not other browsers
When you view the web page with fire fox is someone changing words and inserting nodes on the site. This does not happen with chrome or explorer. When I inspect the element it is HTML not allowed more written on the site. I have remove the node (a commercial that redirects the browser), but they pop up.
