I have an old computer and I keep getting an internal error 2356.data1.cab. How do fix you this?

I have installed a new hard drive on my computer, used all the CD that came with the computer when I bought it.  I don't have a CD for Microsoft windows programs, but the paperwork with the computer says you can go to WINNT32 and install it.  Well, when I tried that I got the message "error 2356.data1.cab internal.   Many sites say they have a free repair for this what cost is near $100.  So I replaced the new hard drive with the old and I got the same message!  Help!

Hello

It's more than likely an error with the installation files.

I suggest you to start in safe mode and get the old hard drive installed.

Download the drivers for the new drive and restart the computer.

Install the new drive with the downloaded drivers and check if that helps:

Check if that helps.
