  You said you have ESXi, so getting to the command line is not intuitive. You do not have to enable ssh, I just want to ensure that I don't have to stand at the level of the console.

  If you want to do it from the console, press alt + F1 and this brings you to the command line. You type not 'supported', and then the root password set for the machine (it will look like you're not anything by typing but don't worry). Then just get off in the data store to see if the files are still there.

  PDF cannot be duplicated, which is stored on the Cloud. You can fill out the feature request/Bug report form

  There are intermittent problems with the download of large files. We aware and are working on fixing it.

  The photos full size will always go to the cloud. They also remain on (or download) your Mac depends on if 'Download this Mac originals' or 'Optimize Mac storage' is ticked in Photos > Preferences > iCloud. If it is enabled, it also depends on how much storage is available on your Mac.

  Not as far as I can tell, but with a subscription of cloud you can always download Edge animate when you have a connection available and later use it without connection.

  Assuming that you had bought a copy of the sale at retail of Office 2010 (i.e., it not was not preinstalled by the manufacturer of the computer or downloaded and installed using a "product key card"), just install it on the new system and turn on normally.  In some cases, you may use telephone activation and explain the circumstances (i.e., the old computer is dead).

  Microsoft Office is not a step "off authorizes" as some other apps (Adobe comes to mind).
