I have Home Premium and want to upgrade to Ultimate.iAm of the India, so not Anytime Upgrade available. Then?
I have a Home Premium and want to upgrade to Ultimate. I am from India, not Anytime Upgrade available. So? is it cheaper to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate or go to windows 8 is no more information in the microsoft Web site? Is there a upgrade option?
If Yes, which is cheaper. I have an offer to win 8 Pro only 699 INR. Win 8 Pro is equivalent to Win7 Ultimate? What are the prices for the upgrade from home premium to ultimate victory?
Windows 7 Anytime Upgrades are no longer available.
Windows 8 Pro is the ultimate value.
The only features that you won't find in Windows 8 Pro are Direct, AppLocker and BitLocker Drive encryption access, some of these functions are dependent on Windows Server 2008 R2 or a later version.

No, it will not work.
Windows 7 anytime upgrade: you have Vista or XP currently installed?
If the product you have Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' does not allow to move from XP/Vista to Windows 7. You can buy the product at retail of Windows 7 Upgrade not the ' Anytime Upgrade '.
Windows 7 'Anytime Upgrade' is for moving from one version of Windows 7 to a higher version, such as Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.

I was a long-time Adobe user and updated several times over the years. However, since the launch of CC I've been very reluctant to upgrade because I don't want to subscribe to a subscription cloud service, I want to buy the software. Not only that I don't want that seems to come with CC (all applications that I don't use, the constant threat and cloud-synchronization disabled), but it seems that he would become too much more expensive. However, since my CS5 apps are now more buggy I want to improve.
So, is it possible to upgrade while avoiding the new subscription CC type? Is it possible to buy just a version of the CC applications without the subscription? I always buy CS6 apps somewhere?
Link to buy the CS6 via phone http://www.adobe.com/products/cs6.html read all the way down
From what I read in a forum message, newer than 10.7 Mac must subscribe in the cloud instead of buy CS6... and someone with Win10 must also subscribe to the cloud for CS6 is not compatible (meaning that the seller will ask you your operating system and not sell you CS6 if she does not work on your computer... I don't know if this means that Win7 and you can't buy if you have Win8)
Please report back with your operating system if you are able to buy CS6

I just scanned my system and received the following error report. : (86) QuickTime/QT Sys corrupted executable file for the program, SKD type Core. This file can be uninstalled and reinstalled on the Microsoft Web Site or it will mess up the entire operating system?
It is a problem of Quick Time. Suggest you uninstall, then re-install Quick Time and not just delete one file.

I want to install Windows 7 Professional. I ran the Windows Upgrade Advisor, and he told me that I can upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate. Why not professional? Or is this correct?
You can still install Windows 7 Pro, but it requires a custom installation. This will remove all your programs (you will need to reinstall them), but you can save your files and settings to external storage before doing so.
If you want to make a place in the upgrade you will need Home Premium or Ultimate.

My Toshiba create multimedia tool repair does not work. I have an I7 of Satellite A505 and it came with home premium and I did the anytime upgrade to Win 7 Pro, I want to try to download an .iso in Windows 7 Pro and do a fresh install.
I have the upgrade button. I wonder if I should first download Home premium, it came with and then download the pro, I have two keys, I don't drive and Dosen t Toshiba tool work. T have to find the way. any help will be appreciated
So if I understand correctly, I charge Home premium, then simply use the upgrade key and it will unlock win Pro, or I have to download pro then install it on Home Premium and use the key?
YES! As Andre also noted. You must activate Home Premium with his first touch, then simply use the key to upgrade Express to go Pro. Pro is already part of Home Premium and the key to upgrade Express just unlocks.
Also, thank you for your help!

I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full.
I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full. I don't understand how he got that way... but... I've never used windows to the top, however I do back up with my Norton Security. I'm not a COMPUTER guru AT ALL and am very confused as to what must be saved for me to do a system restore. I just made a backup on a 16 GB usb flash drive, which included photos, documents, email, contacts and music. But what of my registry or my drivers I've updated on the latest updates of 2 years and windows?
So in plain English for the layperson to the computer, lol, can someone tell me...
1. where should I back up to? (windows, norton?)
2. what should I back up? EXACTLY, please. lol (I have hundreds of games, I don't want to back to the top if possible)
3 and... HOW MUCH ALCOHOL SHOULD I HAVE AVAILABLE WHILE TRYING THIS. LOL just kidding. Laughing out loud
Hello
Updates must be installed in a certain order and no Service Pack must be installed unless and until it is offered through Windows Update.
However, try these options:
Step 1: You can not reuse what already automatically downloaded and installed. You can however save updates and install them manually if you wish.
Step 2: You can create a system image on the computer. A system image is an exact copy of a disc. By default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. In addition, it includes Windows and your system settings, programs and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard drive or computer ever stops working.

I bought Windows Vista Home Premium and got a free upgrade to Windows 7, which I have installed on Computer1. Can I install Vista on a second computer computer2 and still be legal?
Is same question with versions of Microsoft office, if I have multiple versions allowed to install an earlier version on a second computer and stay legal?
No, unfortunately not, when you upgraded to Windows 7 indeed renounce you your right to use Vista. But keep the product key and Vista media where you need to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 again.
For MS Office (according to license as some allow multiple installations) If this older version is not in use you can install it on this computer second no questioned asked.
Never be afraid to ask. This forum has some of the best people in the world to help.
