I have Lightroom for Mac and El Capitan

and just imported a bunch of images - import as gone very well but the pictures have these badges on the Screen Shot 2016-09-02 at 7.15.34 PM.png and I can not know what they are and why they are there.  And when I searched here "badges" I got all sorts of information, but nothing about what they are and why they are there.  I don't want to copy during the import - I don't want to NOT referenced images.  If that's what they mean then I want to stop this from happening and just import in the complete library... I want to deal with images in the location of the library and not worry to find them later.

Just hover your mouse over the badge and a popup will tell you what it is.  One that is displayed on your screen clip means that the photo has keywords.

If you don't want NOT referenced the images you better find another program besides that Lightroom, as the pictures are not IN Lightroom but only referenced by the Lightroom Catalog.  This is how it has always worked and I'm sure that won't change.
