I have to press my left touchpad mouse button too hard to make it work

Hello.  A technician has worked on my touchpad mouse and now I have to press on / click with the left mouse button too hard for her to work/register I am clicking on it.  I don't know what the mouse setting to change to fix.  I'm afraid that if I go to by clicking on it too hard I will break.  Can someone please tell me how/where to adjust the setting.  Please be precise because there are several settings, it may be.  I tried to adjust the click fast/slow, but that's not all.

Thank you!

He didn't touch anything in terms of reassembling any what, everything he did was in terms of changing the settings - I was there

  • Cannot change left/right mouse buttons.

There is no tab in the properties of the mouse buttons. Some time in all of the recent "improvements" that gave me a center mouse & keyboard, the button tab disappeared from the properties of the mouse. I have reviewed each tab, and there is no option to switch left/right button. I click the mouse & keyboard Centre, but it's just a center of the keyboard. No the mouse settings. I tried to change the registry option in the parameters of keyboard keys mouse left/right switch (from 0 to 1), but it has not changed anything and switched back to 0 when I restarted the computer. The tabs in the properties of the mouse cpl are Options of the pointer, wheel, material, activities, Touchpad, mouse & keyboard Centre of Dell and pointers. No tab buttons, zero, not zero.

Fixed a problem. The registry key seems to have finally saved after the last charge, and now the mouse buttons are gone.  I put the following registry key from 0 to 1.

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Mouse\SwapMouseButtons
Is no longer, I worry that there is just no tab buttons mouse corporal my work me has with a Logitech mouse that the manufacturer doesn't ' t even appear to support with the drivers, so I ordered a new mouse for a future use of the store business. Thank you.

  • I have to press F11 for the Send button to show on Office 365 since their upgrade. Perform alternative work and more pressing f11

Submit used to appear on Outlook 365 button. Now, I have to press f11 to get the Send button appears. It is a new problem, it used to work until about a week ago.

An another possible workaround is to force 'repaint' of the screen by changing the zoom level (for example, Ctrl-then Ctrl +). Alternative workaround noted on the Microsoft forums are summarized in this post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../972083#answer-482082.

  • WE HAVE small business Acctg and got windows 7, HOW do I make this work / compatible?

We have Small Business Accounting 2006 and you have upgraded to our computer systems for Windows 7.  Now we find that they are not compatible.  The SBA 2006 is related to our software.  WE must have this compatible.

    Help, please.

E-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

    Hello MarthaFry,

SBA 2006 is not compatible with Windows 7. However, you didn't say what version of Windows 7 you are using. For example, Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise and ultimate edition have the option to download Windows XP mode. This installs a copy of XP on your machine (in Windows 7) that allows you to install the accounting software in a Windows XP environment. That might solve your problem.

If not have you tried to install SBA in compatibility mode for Windows Vista? Try to right click on the file setup.exe (or install.exe) SBA and selecting Properties. In the properties box, click the tab compatibility Place a checkmark (tick) in the box to the left of the "run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select Windows Vista from the dialog box just below this option. You will need to click on the arrow to the right of this box to display all operating systems.

Click Ok, and then click the file setup.exe (install.exe) to start the installation.

  • After update Windows 7, have to reinstall firefox 26, session restore button is available but does not work even if the sessionstore file is there

I am running Firefox on Windows 7 26. Last Windows necessary to make some updates to safety, the night I closed Firefox I normally do it, use the tab out and let windows to go forward with its updates. This morning I found that Firefox has been removed. I tried to find out that my last night sessionstore.js file still exists and it does. When Firefox came all my tabs have disappeared, also my favorites, modules, etc. I clicked on "restore previous session", but nothing happens. I have a file of last night bookmarks in the bookmarks folder, and the file sessionstore.js is dated last night when I closed Firefox in a normal manner. I'm puzzled. Firefox didn't fail, I closed it as I always do before that I have authorized Microsoft Windows Update and restart. Who am I lack/hurt? I leave this open session so that I can continue to have access to this file sessionstore, as I have it copied in a folder that I use for this kind of disaster. This windows necessary also deleted my MailWasher Pro program update, changed how the Windows Explorer and more 'fun '. Thank you, Microsoft. It is barely possible that I can recreate my tabs and it would be extremely aggravating, but I have no way to re-create all my favorites. I need help.

    Hello
If you have not closed since the last time that you can type in "subject: sessionrestore ' on the page and there should be a list of tabs from last time. If this consistantly come please see the history on open gint settin settingand

Firefox > General Options-> view my tabs from last time
    Privacy > history

Have these options will prevent tabs away, after the browser is closed.

Please let me know if this does not resolve the question of restoration session being closed. We can help if it is touched by a plug-in by starting the browser in safe mode.

  • Satellite L500 - touch pad mouse buttons malfunction

I had a Satellite L500 with Windows 7 and recently the touchpad mouse buttons started doing strange things, when clicking on the right button it seems to work like the left button (for example, the window with cut, copy, paste, etc.) rises, it will continue to happen until you click the left button a few times and then the normal operation is restored for a couple of actions and then it happen again.

Has anyone already happen or offer any suggestions as to the cause and possible solutions?

  • Execute while the left mouse button is pressed

    Hi all.

I'm a super newb to Labview, but not to programming (who for years, C++ etc...)

I have a project that I'm trying to do that I hope someone can point me to some tutorials or something.

The idea is that I want to be able to press the left button of the mouse and a dial start to turn.  It will then stop when I release the mouse button.  I intend to put a "indiator" randomly around the dial where the user must stop, but not until they start by pressing the button.

Attached, this is my code so far.  Very basic for some experts like you guys, but it's my first try at Labview.

    Thank you.

    Greg

Here is a 2011 version.  I have not opened to see if any functionality has been lost.

  • I have to press hard on the touchpad and it works

I have to press hard on the touchpad to make it work.  Can I do to solve this problem?  Thank you.

You need to reload the drivers for the touchpad. You can access the drivers by opening the Device Manager, click on the > symbol next to the mouse and other devices of score, make a right click on the driver installed is listed, click on uninstall and then perform a restart.

  • Need to repeatedly press the left button of the mouse

I use a HP Pavilion series g with Win7 Pro and use a Wireless Mouse HP x 4000.  During the last week or so, I had to press the left mouse button to make it work.  I checked in the Control Panel, and it is said that it works ok.  I also ran several antivirus scans of my complete system with no viruses.  I cleaned the contacts and changed the batteries, but still have the same problem.  The laptop and the mouse were purchased new in April.

Yes, is there something I can do that has not already been done?  Or maybe the mouse is more defective.  Would appreciate any advice.

    Thanks, Terry

    Terry57,

Right now, I feel that the mouse must be replaced as well. Safe mode is an environment where the most basic drivers are used to allow windows to operate. In other words, it eliminates all other aspects that might have been contributing to the problem.  Because the problem occurs in and out of safe mode and on another computer, I think that the mouse must be replaced.

Please answer as soon as possible.

    Thank you

  • I have a problem with the touchpad does not not on Windows 7.

Original title: help. My touchpad scroll has stopped working.

I have a laptop of Acer Aspire 5750z-4830. Touchpad scrolling does not scroll when I try. How can I put it to the top after that I took it to be repaired? Since I got it home now it won't work. And I don't have the cd to reinstall.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forum. I understand that the touchpad scroll has stopped working.  I'll help you with this problem.

Before troubleshooting, provide us with information.

    1. don't you make changes to the computer before this problem?

This problem may occur if there are some differences in the file system or the associated scroll Touchpad drivers. Follow these methods:

    Method 1.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Hardware-and-Devices-troubleshooter

    Method 2.

You can also follow this link and check if that helps.

Mouse, touchpad and keyboard under Windows problems: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/help/mouse-touchpad-and-keyboard-problems-in-windows

    Method 3.

Check if control panel touchpad mouse is enabled or not. Follow these steps.

    1 - click on 'start '.

2 - Select 'Control Panel' click the icon of the '' mouse. '' If you don't see the mouse icon, select Classic view of the control panel.

Tab 3 - Click the "peripheral" in the window that appears. Select the 'enable '.

4 button - Click on the 'apply' and select 'OK '.

    Method 4.

Alternatively, you can also try the following steps.

1 - Locate the "Fn" button in the lower right or left side of the keyboard of the laptop. The 'Fn' key has different text color on it or the key itself is a different color.

2 look for the function key (F1-F12) on the top of the keyboard that disables or active the touchpad on the laptop. The key usually has an icon that looks like a touch pad with a finger touch she or a touchpad with a diagonal line through it.

3 - Press "Fn" both the touchpad function key simultaneously to reactive the touchpad on your laptop. Move your finger on the touch pad to make sure it works. Press to disable the touchpad again at any time.

  • The functions of the left and right of my mouse buttons keep swapping without doing me anything, and it's really annoying!

For some reason any the left and right buttons on my mouse keep turn on their own without me doing anything. Once this happens, I go into the properties of the mouse, apply the default and then that's fine. That lasts anywhere from 3 hours to 3 days. I don't know if it's a problem of Vista or my computer, but it's really annoying. I restarted my computer after changing the settings and it still does not help. Can someone help me with this?

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

    3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click on restart.

    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
