  I just bought a spectrum ew HP laptop and the touchpad works well in most parts except for the left and right-click buttons.

  Just that they behave like primary and secondary clicks. I checked that they were set to be as such, but it still does not work.

  Steps to drain the static charge and load the BIOS default settings to solve the problem

  Step 01. Turn off the laptop

  Step 02. Disconnect the power/AC adapter and also remove the battery too

  Step 03. Press and hold the power button of the laptop for a minute

  Step 04. Now re - insert the battery back in and plug again the power supply/adapter

  Step 05. Start Notepad and keep pressing the F10 key during startup to access the BIOS

  Step 06. Once you get the BIOS, please press F5 or F9 key to load the default settings for the BIOS

  Step 07. Now press ESC/ESC. Save Changes and Exit - Yes

  Step 08. Now, please wait until the unit load the Windows operating system

  Now please download and reinstall the drivers from the touchpad for your laptop on the Site of HP Support

  The 'old' previous touchpad (Synaptics or momentum) is installed on your laptop?
  You should check this area programs & features

  If so, uninstall this application and restart the laptop.
  Then check if the left and right click touchpad would work again.

  By the way: have you verified the functionality of a USB external mouse? It work correctly?

  I have a new laptop Satellite L50 CI3. However, it seems there is a problem with the left and right keys on the touchpad.

  Right-click behaves like a left click i.e. it does not open a menu.

  Left click cannot drag and drop, including when you use the scroll bars.

  I reinstalled everything, but nothing has changed. Is this a common problem? Is this likely to a hardware or software problem?

  I mean when you start your laptop for the first time that it has original factory settings and everything should be OK.

  If I just understand that there is some response when you use the touchpad buttons so that you can try is to set all the options of touchpad on default settings.

  Perform the check and the clean boot if you have the problem.

  1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

  2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

  3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.

  7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

  Reset the computer to start as usual

  Hello

  Can someone point me in the right direction on where to find actionscript 2/3 coding for the left and right mouse click on the game. I am a student and want to design a game that uses the two left and right mouse click on an object which will give you different results depending on which mouse click, you did.

  For example, on an object red you right click on a blue item, you click on left. Depending on how you have clicked on an object will determine the next step in the code.

  Yes.  You can click on something for any reason you might intend, and then use the arrow keys left and right.

  I bought this laptop a few weeks ago from Argos to replace my old Vaio specification was the best I could afford. (it was purchased as an A660-17 but the label on the laptop says A660-1DW)

  Was pretty happy with it, but suddenly the left and right arrows must be pressed extremely hard getting them to consider same work. Even in this case, it's rare!

  I use the computer a lot so don't want to have to send for repair, and most of the branches of Argos seem to be sold out of them now.

  Anyone have a suggestion of easy fix? (hit along I know)

  I think that it s a keyboard problem that needs a replacement for keyboard

  Why you n t try to reconfigure the touchpad settings.
  Have you checked the settings in Control Panel-> mouse control?
  There should be an option and some touchpad properties that could be changed.

  Works with Apple Pages 5.6.1 on a MacBook Air, try to format a book for automatic printing. I want to do different for left and right pages headers and footers, and margins so that, for example, the page numbers appear outside of the page rather than all the beings in the lower right.
