  Lol all the hardware and software support come from the manufacturer of software and hardware (of the product in question.)  If the hardware manufacturer (Gigabit you said?) supports this model camera (cam-pcl-pc110) under Windows 8 - they will provide drivers, you can get through them and install.  If they are not - you may be looking to get a new camera.

  IMHO, you can install and activate the operating system by using the embedded product key if it's the same version only.
