F 23 has a tab box in the upper left corner. I made the change of url to empty, but it's still there. How can I get rid of it for good? W7 Ultimate. There was no box in another version of FF.
Hello, apparently this option has been removed intentionally in preparation for a redesign of the browser which will land in firefox later this year. You can use the following extensions to work around this issue if: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/hide-tab-bar-with-one-tab/

I don't want the Toolbar of Incredimail and page layout, as I prefer Firefox, I tried to withdrawal method and told to remove via delete or change programs on the start menu. I did and although she disappeared from there, it is still on my desktop whenever I open Firefox.
Tools | Add - ons | Extensions. Remove it from there.
Then in the address bar, type: Subject: config and press ENTER.
- In the filter at the top, type the keyword . URL
- Double click it and change the current setting of http://www.google.com/search?q= (it must be entered exactly as you see it written here)
Since it is a URL, you can right click and choose "Copy link location" to copy it to the Windows Clipboard. You have to type when you go to change the setting records. Close Firefox via file | Output.
Then go to How to set the homepage to reset to anything you want.
PS sorry it took so long to answer your question.

I think that it happened on a browser package that I deleted "astromed" or something like that. now it is constant Chronicle pop ups. I tried to manually delete the folder but I can't get permission to modify it to remove
They are part of the current configuration of Firefox you can read in the blog.

I uninstalled the program. I deleted all the registry entries. I deleted the Babylon of the top search engine on the page right.
I went in: config and reset each line with Babylon. I also tried to replace Babylon with google and then reset the entries of Babylon.
But Babylon entries always appear when I close firefox and reopen about: config.
One way that programs can insert parameters into the preferences of Firefox is to create a user.js file in your personal settings (AKA Firefox profile folder). To check that:
Help > troubleshooting information > "view file" button.
If you find a file named user.js
(1) rename it to something else
(2) back to Firefox, talk openly about: config and reset the entries of Babylon
(3) restart Firefox to see if you have emptied it
A little luck?

I uninstalled Snap.do but not completely erase my whole history, nothing has worked so far. Whenever I open a new tab in Firefox, Snap.do is like the search bar. What a pain!
If you don't like to reset, follow these steps: go in firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search
Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious softwarethen install the reset search addon - he'll come back more often customizations make these adware programs in default firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

Hello
I have this problem, my app box shows me two icons in blue, as the system icon, you know. These icons are the symbol of SD above. I click on them, and the message is that the app is not instaled. I made a return to the top and I formatted the SD card and made a SDMaid clean, to clear all the tracks off old apps but the icons still there and I don't know which app they belong
Do you know a solution for this?
Thank youI found the solution! This!
If you still see these apps under settings-> Apps, try to uninstall them from there and see if that helps.
If you do not, go to settings-> Apps-> all-> House Xperia-> clear data-> OK and then reboot the phone. But be aware that this will reset your homescreen to the default settings.

Today, I tried to download a single app for iPhone, but it wouldn't work. (Well, that's why's called it "iPhone only apps") So I tried to delete it as anyone else, and it seemed to work fine, until I clicked the button to confirm, and the white installation icon would not disappear! I continued to by pressing DELETE and confirming, but the stupid icon was still there! Someone please help me or at least just tell me it's bugged and he is going to be there forever? Help, please!
Try a simple Reset: press and hold the Power and Home buttons until you see the Apple logo.
BTW, I have still a few iPhone only apps that work very well on my iPad with iOS 9.3 2 Air.
