BlackBerry Smartphones deleted Facebook of my applications, but it is still there.

I want to get rid of FB on my Blackberry - it's sucking the life out of my battery and I don't want it on my phone.  Help, please.  Thanks in advance!

Once you have removed the application (via Options |) Advanced options | Applications) did invite you to reboot the device? If it does not try to reset the unit by removing the battery and put it back in

  • BlackBerry Smartphones deleted Yahoo Messenger BB 8900 but continues to receive emails

    Hello

I am trying to remove the my BB8900 yahoo Messenger but I still get emails.

What I've done so far, it was go in the list of applications and check if there is a line mensioning Yahoo. It wasn't, so I was already wondering how to remove it. On the internet, I found that I have to remove the service I did! (Do not remember well, but I think that there are two lines to remove.)

Problem is that I have always received emails, send to my yahoo on my blackberry account.

This morning entered the list of the modules and deleted the YHO BBS2 (or something like that)

At out the battery and restarted 1 minute later... guess what still emails on my blackberry?

    This is getting crazy!

There is probably another somwhere line that needs to be deleted... but where?

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones delete Facebook Message

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I thought it was resolved, but eh, I still have no memory on my Storm!

Please help me, someone... I can't understand this...

    Hello

I tried to take a few pictures with my storm last night when I was at a party and when I tried to do, I got an error message.

I can't show you a picture, you cannot add attachments, but the error message reads:

(letter i icon) File system error

(the folder icon) / Device memory/home/user/photos

Name: IMG0007-200... (name of the photo)

I looked everywhere that I have air...

I went to the Options... Memory and looked at what I had available. Here's what I found:

    Application memory

    Free space: 9.6 MB

    The device memory

    Total area: 879.2 MB

    Free space: 0.0 KB

    Multimedia card

    Total space: 7.3 GB

    Free space: 5.6 GB

Of course, the glaring problem is that I don't have ANY free space on the device.  Where everything is?  I have a 8 GB memory card and I have uploaded about 150 songs in my Storm. However, I have not downloaded photos or anything else. What happened to all the memory?   Where everything is?

I tried a couple things like turn market, pulling out the memory card, etc... I tried to attach the storm and then sneaked in the records themselves and the only things I could find in ALL files was my MP3 files.

    Anyone know what's happened here?

    Thank you!

    Rob

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I deleted an e-mail account but the folder still appears on my home screen

I deleted an e-mail account, but the folder still appears on my home screen.  It doesn't let me delete it.  The e-mail account is no longer shows on the screen for managing Email accounts, so it should be deleted from my phone.  I tried to remove the battery, but it did not help.

Looks like the maintenance book remained. See http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartphone_users/deliverables/32608/Accept_or_delete_a_service_book_61... Remove the service books that corresponds to the e-mail account deleted.

Hello, apparently this option has been removed intentionally in preparation for a redesign of the browser which will land in firefox later this year. You can use the following extensions to work around this issue if: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/hide-tab-bar-with-one-tab/

  • BlackBerry smartphones deleting the Facebook Application

I would like to know how to remove the Facebook of my BB.  I found that if I go into Options / Advanced Options / Applications, it lists a large number of applications it (and I can delete), but the Facebook app is not there.  I'll probably never use which, and if I decide to I could just re - install. For now, I would like that he deleted.  I hid it from the screen of the application, but I'd rather just remove it.  How do I do that?

    Jesse

Vorlon, in the BlackBerry world we call it crapware too, but in this case, it is not.

It's an icon of shortcut for installation... that's all it is. If you read the post of kijana above, he stated that. You can't delete it, it will only get pushed to your device. The shortcut icon is VERY small and inconsequential. Your operator will often push application installs like that, which are nothing more than a shortcut to the web-based installation.

What I do is hide. I create a folder on my home screen called "junk" (why not name your ' crap'?) and then move installation icons like this one in this folder and then hide the entire folder.

    Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blocked Facebook application

I bought the Blackberry Torch 9800 in my company. The Facebook application is blocked, a message as follows:

"This application have been blocked by your administrator of business system. Contact your system administrator for more information."

You would be able to help me unlocked so that I can used the Facebook via wifi.

Hello and welcome to the community!

If your BB is still enabled on your business system, you must talk to your BES admins... they apply this block through BES IT policy.

If you want to say that you are separate from your company and no longer use their services, then their BES admins does not correctly clean your device when they gave it to you. In this case, you need this:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

You must of course a full backup first, the instructions for which you can find in my auto-sig on this post. But when you restore, make sure you DON'T make a full restore... just do a selective restore of the databases you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.), especially avoiding any database that have nothing to with politics COMPUTER, company, etc.. If you do not restore those, you find yourself right back where you are now, because who will dutifully restore politics to the TI back to your BB.

    Good luck!

  • Applications blackBerry Smartphones Deleted/desinstalles in BlackBerry World not really gone?

This seems to be a recurring problem for many users of BlackBerry and it's bugging us.

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9700 and I have a few apps that I uninstalled, however, they always appear as uninstalled items. I can't get rid of them. I don't want to even see that they are uninstalled in my world! I did the reset in the App World (alt R S T) that reboots only App World and applications are STILL there in the uninstall section. By clicking on one of these elements just gives me the opportunity to reinstall the (there was a reason to uninstall them in the first place). I took out the battery, I even tried to remove these applications Options, Applications and they always appear as uninstalled App World. I just want that they disappeared and did not track that I have even downloaded the.

Is there a way for these items to be deleted and is not at all, that I have need the reminder of these applications on my screen

Well I just discovered this. If you have already deleted the application and it is listed in the program / application not installed, follow these steps:

    1. Select the application

2 initiate a process of installation of the application that is to say. As you want to install it again

    3. can pause while installing

4 do the OPTIONS and click CANCEL

This will remove the application from your BB.

    It worked for me. Bold9700

  • BlackBerry smartphones, deleting the files from music permanently

I've loaded about 3 000 songs on my Javelin and trimmed them up to about 1,000 of my absolute favorites. I tried to transfer to my computer in two ways... with Fund Manager and let XP do the work... but deleted music always comes again!

I tried a reset, reboot and everything I can think of doing the deletion of things go away, but it won't. Windows Media Player is on monitor only the new folder I created for Blackberry music, but my smartphone is quite smart to find all the stuff I was history.

My question: how the world can permanently delete you a file? I have checked the settings, but it can't know.

Thanks for any time you take to help out me.

If your music is on a media card, use Windows Explorer to view its contents and to view system and hidden files.

In each case, you will see a file named BBThumbs.dat. It's the indexing file, which contains information about the deleted files still. Just delete all the BBThumbs.dat files.

After unplugging the computer, when you enter the multimedia application, it will start again every 1000 remaining files from indexing. It may take some time but will end after a few minutes.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not make a call, but can receive calls

Hello! I BBCurve9380 and somehow it just stopped making the calls, but I can still receive. I don't know if it's on the changed settings but on what I read in other forums, it's on the it policy. I checked mine and it says BBFS1 [GTALKAP1] and WLM 2.1 [WLMAP01]. I've updated all my apps and my computer can read my phone just fine. When I try to make a call, it automatically disconnects. Any help would be appreciated.

In fact, you have a lot more work to do, in light of your acquisition method. Reference:

    • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

For step 3 stages of seller, you should replace it and it will remove unit COMPUTER policy:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

However, later, when you restore, DO NOT do a full restore. On the contrary, do only a selective restore of only those databases that you absolutely need (e.g., contacts, calendar, messages) and specifically avoid restore databases that have nothing to do with HIM, political, business or other similar things. If you restore those, you'll just be right back where you are now, as a full restore will conscientiously COMPUTER policy again on your device.

Note Please that I really have no idea if doing this will restore your ability to make calls... 100% of the information I have comes from what you have posted here. I'm guessing that the policy could be the cause of your problems, but I can't know that. No matter, since there is an IT strategy on board and you are not on BES, then you definitely want to get that deleted. But regarding if that will restore your ability to make calls, I have no way to predict the future... If something is the cause of this specific problem, then we'll have to deal with this - AFTER you remove the it policy so that we can be sure it does not hinder anything else.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones getting a refund unwanted applications?

    Hey all -

I buy a few applications, but after playing with them, they are just not what I'm looking for (they were personal finance apps)... I would like to get a refund on the app (already deleted your handheld sound), but when I send an email to the seller that they say since I bought to App World I need to go through RIM... Can anyone help point me in the right direction on where to go? Thank you!

Please read the FAQ for App World (located here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/appworld/faq.jsp).

Since the Support section in the FAQ (section 9), you can get the refund and only in very specific situations:

Customers can request a refund once they buy an application?
BlackBerry App World in general offers no refunds to consumers. However, for jurisdictions where the RIM of record dealer shall provide a refund, the refund may be processed by RIM.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones deleting an option "Send help" from my calendar

I got the Facebook application installed and I removed it because I found the easiest to use mobile site.  Since I uninstalled the application, the default "send to" when I do a new appointment is Facebook.  I had to change it to my regular e-mail whenever I created a new appointment.  I was able to change my default back to my email, but I wonder if there is a way to completely eliminate the Facebook options.  I was expecting to go in when I uninstalled the app.  Can someone help me please?  Thank you

OK, on your device, go to Options > Advanced > service book.

Well scroll down and find the entry for 'Facebook' [CICAL], press Menu > delete.

    Then battery pull reboot again.

Go back and make sure that it is still not there.

    You're good.
