  OK, I just discover another discussion that my problem was caused by Nikon Transfer.

  I had been using the version of Nikon Transfer, I had with my previous camera, which apparently corrupts a D7200 Nikon raw files.

  I have transferred my images (using Lightroom) and NEF files open fine in Lightroom and Photoshop.

  Change the screen resolution

  Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen.   I'm trying to block ads in my browser but when I go to c; Windows/system32/drivers/etc I do not see the Host file I virtue see a file while properties indicates that it is 5 archives. I need to add some info on the hosts file how to make this file show. Although I don't see it when I try to paste a modified hosts file it won't allow replacement of Martin

  Click Start--> go in run and paste the following entry: %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc

  You now see the hosts file?
  If this is not the case, try this:
  1. click on start go to run-->
  2. tap------(literally just a------and nothing else)
  3. press on enter
  4. click on Tools--> folder--> view options
  5. make sure that a small black dot appears next to 'display files and folders '.
  6. scroll down for 'show hidden files and folders' and remove the checkbox from "Hide protected files (recommended) operating system.
  7. click on 'yes '.
  8. click on 'Ok '.
  9. click on start--> go in run and paste the following entry: %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc
  If you * see the hosts file now, right-click on it and make sure that there is no check mark 'read only' and 'hidden' boxes... If they are verified, then remove the check.
  Note: you should not have to perform steps 1 through 8 to view the hosts file; the hosts file is visible even with these settings, the default value (for example, when files are hidden you should always see the hosts file), but you may have a spyware infection that has tried the hide and prevent changes in the host file (to prevent you from making corrections in the file which made spyware)
  assuming that you have made any customizations to this file, it should appear as the default value listed in this Microsoft article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034
  If it looks not to the default file listed at this URL, then you can recreate the file by using the templates included in this document KB

• I bought the Sony A7Rii and found that LR5 did not support their raw files.  So I just bought LR6 and LR6 can't read SONY's RAW files.

  LR6 should support for the A7Rii of Sony RAW files (.) ARW files).  Fix?

• Having trouble getting the raw files to open in Photoshop CS2

  Feel stupid.

  Have the new Canon 5 d Mark II and raw files first shot. Went to open them in CS2 (my old 20 d files open fine) and got the error message.

  Came to the adobe site, new camera_raw.8bi download, followed the instructions to move it in the right folder, old archived. Nothing. Same mistake. Checked the "help > about plug-ins >" and it only shows the gross.

  Returned to the adobe site and looked into the DNG Converter (don't know why I need that - can't I just open it in CS2 as ago?) and downloaded the zip (5.1). No instructions I can find anywhere on what to do with these files. Drag the .exe on my desk and pulled upward, said one of the raw files and. .  . got an error "there was an error of analysis of the file."

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. In particular, I would like to be able to open the files in CS2, if possible.

  -Early check, if you do not have a microphone which is very well, saving a blank audio file in this case is not a problem, record for 30 seconds to a minute.
  -Save the WMA file on your desktop
  -Open Windows Media Player 11 and go to your library
  -Drag the newly created file in the box that says 'Elements Drag here'
  -Read the file and click on read the list (but not the menu topic is on-air)
  -Right click on the file and go to Advanced Tag Editor
  -Insert the words; Type some text in there manually, about 10 lines, do not cut & paste the lyrics from another source.
  -Now click on the menu item Now Playing

  -Click Start, type CMD in the search bar and right click the icon calls command that appears and click left on run as administrator
  -Type:

  and press ENTER.
