Restore default used to work for the current session, but now it does not work. I'm about to give up and stick with Chrome as the bookmarks toolbar problem is driving me crazy. I'm about to try to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. And this will be my last resort, unless you get a solution to this problem. I've been a Firefox user since its inception up to 16 or 17 years old and like Firefox, but this seems to be common according to my research. BOOKMARKS BAR IS A MUST HAVE!

  The software CC installs on your computer. They maybe shouldn't have called 'Creative cloud' because a lot of people think what you think. The part 'cloud' of things refers to the free 'cloud' storage you get, the fact that the software is delivered via the internet instead of a disc, and it checks your subscription via the internet, but everything else is the same as it was. The software is installed on your local system, the software runs on your local system, and you save your files in your local system.

  The only downside is that you must pay a subscription fee to keep going instead of a big chunk of money and it's yours forever (although, maybe it's a head for some people - stay current is actually less expensive with the subscription model with the model of permanent license of CS).
