I'm still using CS5 and Nik/Google software plug-ins. If I switch to CC now will be that in any way affect my plug-ins or cause me to have to download everything again?

It's the compatibility table for Nik Software. So you should be ok. You might be interested in this thread that addresses this issue

Re: Are the Google Collection of plugins and Photoshop CC Nik 2015 compatible?

There is sometimes a problem with the plugins does not, but this seems to be overcome in order

Hope that helps

    CS5 cannot go higher than 6.7. If your device requires a more recent version, download the free Adobe dng converter. You convert your RAW to DNG, which can then be processed 6.7 in camera raw.

    Hi Eric,.

    CS5 help is usually located in/usr/Library/Preferenecs/chc.487.../Local Store/Help folder.

    CS6 help is generally downloaded to the shared location, unless it is limited. In this case the folder above can be used to download help.

    Yes, the content setting in the Adobe help Manager offline, will work with CS5 and CS6 and help our customers.

    'Status to expired' usually means the State when local content goes stale, and new content offline is available on Adobe.com servers. Yes, a user can click on the button download/upgrade to update to refresh the content expired with the Adobe help Manager.

    Regarding the launch of CS5 product help, I'll need some more information to provide an answer.

    1. which product and version of CS5 is the customer problem.

    2. What is the status of help downloaded for the same product (CS5 or CS6 Adobe help Manager)

    3. is the user able to see help downloaded in the above files

    Let me know if you have more queries.

    Kind regards

  • help I lr4 and I can't download raw photos from my nikon d750 what should I do, I don't want to have to spend more money :/

    I bought lr4 earlier when I had a d5100 and had no problem download from raw formats I stopped using it for some time and had to get a new hard drive for my mac, in doing so, I had to reload lr4 now, I have a new camera which is a d750 and its not letting me upload photos in raw format do - what I do :/

    The D750 needs at least LR 5.7 or higher to function. If you don't want to upgrade, the only option is to use the DNG Converter on the raw images that will make them able to be read by LR4.

    The Plan of photographers gives you LR and Photoshop and is the cheapest option, you can find LR5 on Amazon or similar, but is no longer available from Adobe themselves!

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] When you use create/restoreSavepoint... Restore operation is still useful? And other doubts...

    Hallo,

    Dario and Timo advised me (in this thread Re: [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Master w/playback af:form only af:tables detail: how to handle insert and edit through forms?) I make a request using the functions create/restoreSavpoint to this fragment in my application.

    The tables are read-only, and the user can insert and modify records by a form of popup.

    Each table has its own pop-up that I created using a btf executed as diaolog (*).

    Before I open the popup, I create the backup point.

    BindingContext bctx = BindingContext.getCurrent();
    DCDataControl dcDataControl = bctx.getDefaultDataControl();
    String sph = (String) dcDataControl.createSavepoint();
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getPageFlowScope().put("AdfmSavePoint", sph);

    When the popup is closed, I restore the backup point if the Cancel button was clicked...

    Object confirmOrCancel = returnEvent.getReturnValue();
    if (((String) confirmOrCancel).equals("cancel")) {
      String sph = (String) AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getPageFlowScope().get("AdfmSavePoint");
      BindingContext bctx = BindingContext.getCurrent();
      DCDataControl dcDataControl = bctx.getDefaultDataControl();
      dcDataControl.restoreSavepoint(sph);
    }

    I have these doubts:

    1. the button "CANCEL ALL" (so far) AM restore operation is still meaningful (is always useful) when you use the check points? Or can I avoid using the restore of the AM operation, creating a backup point before you enter the fragment and restore it if the user clicks on "RESTORE ALL"?
    2. for all tables: before opening the popup insert/change the backup point is implemented pageFlowScope under the same key 'AdfmSavePoint '. Is it OK or would it be better to use a different key for each table (for example 'AdfmSavePointTable1', 'AdfmSavePointTable2',...)?
    3. If the pageFlowScope already contains a checkpoint under the "AdfmSavePoint" key... What does if I give the floor to new .put ("AdfmSavePoint", sph)? Can I be sure that the old value is overwritten?
    4. is this safe with nested savepoint? For example in my case I want to create a backup before the fragment in the image point is displayed (and restore if the user leaves the fragment by clicking "RESTORE ALL"), then within the fragment, as I said above, I would manage other points of record when inserting/editing tables.
    5. I noticed that clicking on the button "RESTORE ALL" when it relates to the AM-restore operation causes this strange thing: when before displaying the fragment I call SetCurrentRowWithKey on the master istance VO... If I click on "ROLLBACK ALL" posted master VO Records changes and 1 minutes of the main of the VO table is displayed. Why the master istance VO is not reimain in the folder I've previously selected by SetCurrentRowWithKey?
    6. With reference to the expression (*) above. The BTF 'dialogue' I created contains only the page jspx with shape and a return to activity. I also tried a) create (and restore) the backup point, b) to call createInsert inside the "dialog box" operation BTF (see images below), but the createInsert on retail VO istance called inside the 'dialogue' BTF seems not to reflect on the table as when I call createInsert by calling btf. I have to make some adjustments in the 'dialogue' of BTF?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Federico,

    (1) Yes, what should happen if a user add or edit vo1 and click ok in the dialog box but decided that ask to work must be restored?

    (2) as long as you don't have that a dialog box is open, it should work.

    (3) the flowrate range of page is a map. You can put the same key more than once. If the key already exists, the value is replaced.

    (4) in fact, I don't know, but the sounds of complicated design. I guess you can record more points, but only in the order of creation. It's as if you try to rebuild the framework. BTF yo it even for you, when worn right. Please go to ADF Architecture Square and read and watch it task flow of related things.

    (5) this behavior is as expected. A restore resets all the iterators so thagetto point at the top of he. http://www.Oracle.com/technetwork/Developer-Tools/ADF/learnmore/OCT2010-OTN-Harvest-183714.pdf 'keep the line after cancellation' shows how to handle this situation.

    (6) I suppose have you refresh the table iterator, once you close the dialog box for the new data. But that's only a guess because it depends on how the btf share control of data and the your involved.

  • I'm using CS5 and when I try to upgrade packages: Bridge, Fireworks and Photoshop are downloaded, but updates fail-why?

    I can spend the other CS5 components but not these three. What can I do to get these updates are processed on my 64-bit platform of Windows 8.1?

    When I go through all the steps: download, unpacking, etc. The bridge 4.0.5 and updates of Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 cause bridge to run during the upgrade process that stops the update process!

  • Can we still use NOT_SUPPORTED and supported for any request method?

    Hi all

    Because the database selection didn't need a transaction (Please correct me if that's wrong), define the level of transaction "NOT supported" or "Supported" for all of these methods that question only something database?

    Maybe these methods will be called in other in a transaction, so "NEVER" cannot be used.

    My question is: is there a reason to get a transaction for methods without any insert/update of database?

    Say there are three beans as below:

    @Stateless
    @TransactionManagement (TransactionManagementType.CONTAINER)
    / public class InsertBean implements {Insert}
    @Override
    @TransactionAttribute (TransactionAttributeType.REQUIRED)
    {} public void createUsers (< user > list of users)
    INSERT INTO user WHERE...
    }
    }

    @Stateless
    @TransactionManagement (TransactionManagementType.CONTAINER)
    / public class QueryBean implements Query {}
    @Override
    @TransactionAttribute (TransactionAttributeType.NOT_SUPPORTED)
    public int getUserNumber() {}
    SELECT COUNT (*) FROM user
    }
    }

    @Stateless
    @TransactionManagement (TransactionManagementType.CONTAINER)
    / public class UpdateBean implements {update
    @Override
    @TransactionAttribute (TransactionAttributeType.REQUIRED)
    {} public void updateUsers (list < user > users)
    UPDATE user SET logindate = xxx WHERE...
    }
    }

    Insert and update requires a transaction and not the query. If there is a method of bean called as:

    InsertBean.createUsers (users);
    int n = QueryBean.getUserNumber ();
    UpdateBean.updateUsers (users);

    In this case, that the level of transactions for getUserNumber() request method must not be 'NEVER', only 'SUPPORTED' or 'NOT_SUPPROTED' is reasonable. But 'NOT_SUPPORTED' is more effective. So can I use level 'NOT_SUPPORTED' for all methods of query?

    If sometimes the query method must be in a transaction could you share?

    Thanks in advance.

    When the query is running for a long time and you who call inside the transaction, the transaction may time out.
    In this case you would go non-supported, so that this transaction manager can take the action when the method
    is called within a transaction. Otherwise it does not really matter.

  • Still using Lightroom2 and need help to save Photos

    Hello, I currently run Lightroom 2 (improve to 3 soon) and I'm very worried about having my pictures saved correctly.  I use 2 external hard drives to store all my media and want to make sure that I have everything backed up on one of them.  I select the option when lightroom opens to save my catalog on the hard drive of my second, but all that happened is a small file for the catalog has been occurred.  What is a ghost of all my photos?  Is it necessary to physically copy all raw images from my main HD to my backup?  If so, how is the best way to do this?  An Advisor on the subject would be a great help.  I've tried reading other information online about this and have had trouble finding the answers I'm looking for.

    Performed by Lightroom backup is a backup of your catalog (database) file only. It contains no photos.

    Yes, it is necessary to make backups of all your photos. You must use a non-Lightroom method to make backups of your photos. Copy the works of photos; Another solution is to use dedicated software backup that can operate at night to save photos, for example Winzip (there are many others).

  • IHAVE just download Firefox 9.0.1 and find that my Yahoo toolbar is no longer supported and the Google toolbar seems to be inconsistent or nonexistent. What should do?

    I was warned in advance that Yahoo toolbar would be incompatible but not that there is no toolbar at all, since Google does more than Firefox 5. I guess I'll have to go back to explore because I need not toolbars, no? Is there such a thing as a Firefox toolbar? If Yes, where?

    Why do you think you don't even need to add a toolbar for Firefox?

    What features do you need, provided by one of these toolbars, which are not integrated into Firefox?

Do you know guys if I can upgrade my computer and still download CS5 and do the JOB? Should continue with an apple computer. And I do not have original order information and serial number. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    Yes, it is supported by your operating system:

    Help download and installation to Prodesigntools links can be found on the most linked pages.  They are essential; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click on a link that does not have these listed steps, open a second window by using the link to Lightroom 3 to see these "important Instructions".

  • Problems of cloud with CS5 and CS6 tests had

    Hi all;

    I asked for advice on this here before, but I've sorted it now and I wanted just that comment here.

    I have CS5. I added Muse and PS CS6 trial / beta. Which have been removed as they should be removed. I acquired Cloud.

    I installed the most recent request manager.

    I have to use CS5 and CS6 because I wrote / write on both courses.

    Whenever I start a CS5 application on the next startup app CS6 I wonder if I want to buy or such. "0 days left"...

    Now who can be resolved in the manner as explained in the FAQ here (login etc.), but I have noticed it is therefore not a question of an 'old' Application handler.

    Its a bug or such.

    Maarten

    Dave;

    Thanks for your reply.

    I had this problem yesterday, soon as my man App updated itself, when I opened it. If that doesn't help (or maybe it does after reboot).

    In any case this isn't really a problem; I click on acquire or such and that's it.

    I just wanted to comment.

  • How to distinguish the physical interface and logic (subinterface) interface to the Cisco router/Switch?

    Hi Expert,

    How to distinguish the physical interface and logic (subinterface) interface to the Cisco router/Switch? Can you please clarify a formal way for this so have?

    A physical interface is numbered with the same name of the interface when printing on the physical port. For example "GigabitEthernet 0/1" corresponds to port 1 of the 0 module (or the base unit).

    A logical interface can be a subinterface on a routed port and will have a point ("". "") preceding the number sous-interface (ex. GigabitEthernet 0/1.1). It can also be a loop or a virtual interface (on a router this could also include interfaces like the tunnel and virtual tunnel or VTI types). A switch may also have a VLAN logical interfaces (e.g. interface vlan 1) which are used as layer 3 virtual interfaces of type.
