  Don't use NO Windows 7 with a single account. In Windows 7, the built-in Administrator account is disabled by default, and although it is possible to allow, this process may be beyond what you feel comfortable with.

  You need to forget about something to do with XP and create a user with administrator privileges, account (let's call him Admin or similar) and give it a password. (There is absolutely no need to run as administrator on a daily basis in Windows 7, Windows 7 has the function of 'right-click-Run as Administrator "when you need administrator privileges).
