• Installation of Lightroom after trial download

  So I downloaded the trial version for Lightroom creative cloud. My trial is over and I want to buy lightroom for my computer permanently. I bought Lightroom on another computer and used the trial to feature creative cloud to use temporarily on a newer computer. I bought Lightroom again from Amazon and got the download to work but when I opened installation folder it says "Please close the other installation of Adobe programs and press Retry to continue with this installation." I tried to close all the programs installation and it still gives me the same thing. Should I uninstall my old version of lightroom?

• Need help Lightroom Catalog

  My boss recently shot a lot of photos in Europe for a customer. There are about 20 folders full of images. She went through the first 10 files in Lightroom, and made the choice to those she wanted me to work using the ranking system '5 star '... Then she had to go to California and took the 10 remaining files with it on a separate hard drive to make its choice in these matters, and she'll send me this hard drive... So, my question is, in order to get his selections does the disk external hard in the same catalog LR, I did already in the office, it would be preferable to send the LR catalog file, and for his work on the same, even if she won't have to the first half of the images with it? Would this work again? - Or it would work better if she did a new catalog, and that I would then be able to merge the two when I get the drive? Thanks in advance for any help!

  That's right, you'll be able to see the changes made to the catalog once you merge the catalog.

  try to disable linkscanner and shield online because they block adobe a reason any. You can also try adding exclusion lists.

  These images are simply in a folder on your hard drive. Open Lightroom 3 and import. You have to start over on your edit on them. But 5 Lightroom has 'no' these images.
