  Open Lightroom and you should see a message on your trial period that expires and gives you the option to purchase.  Click this option, and you should be given the opportunity to enter your serial number.

  If not, uninstall your trial of lightroom (using adobe uninstaller).  then download and install lr 5.7.

Download won't start after giving creative cloud application permission to start the download (I found the trial on the website). Fifteen minutes after the download began, and with a good internet connection, the download bar is always at 0% and when I went to the site again to check if my download has already started, After Effects icon says "Cancel" instead of "Download" in the creative cloud application.

  Try output compared to the Creative clouds - click on the gear icon (to the upper right) and go to Preferences.

  Restart your computer.

  Sign in again and go to the applications tab and wait a while for everything to cool down.
