  I need help, updated the BIOS on my HP dc7800 CMT. I get this error message:

  The current version of my BIOS is: 786F1 v01.04 2007-07-18

  I am running Windows 7 64-bit Ultiate. I noticed on the page (linked above) software, it mentions most of the flavors of Windows 7 64-bit, but it does not mention Win 7 ULTIMATE 64-ditch.

  Here's what I did:

  (1) computer restarted in safe mode

  (2) connected as administrator

  (3) Task Manager began to ensure that all applications and most of the services have been arrested

  3 (a) as an additional precaustion, I even stopped Windows Defeneder

  (4) double clicked on sp53611.exe and let it install the software.

  (5) This opens a web page. I clicked on the link which was under the Bio update to a windows environment.

  (6) the process has started, but then I got the above error.

  Any ideas on what to do next?

  Is it possible that the BIOS cannot be updated because the software does not support windows 7 64 bit ULTIMATE?

  Hello:

  There should be no need to update the BIOS, if everything is working properly.

  If you want to update the BIOS, you must use the built in Flash ROM of system menu in the BIOS.

  It is the safest and easiest way to Flash the BIOS.

  All you need is a USB stick formatted with the FAT 32 file system.

  Download the latest BIOS update, then run it.

  You should get a page of instructions.  On this page, you want the option F10 system flash rom and you should see a summary of BACK flash folder view.

  Copy all the files in this folder on your USB.

  Plug the drive into the usb port, restart the PC and at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, press the F10 key to access the BIOS.

  There will be a menu to System Flash ROM

  What to choose and it should see the BIOS update files on the usb flash drive.  Then follow the instructions on the screen to proceed to the update of the BIOS.

  For what is 2.2, have you tested the developer version (ipa file) on your device? If so did you buy subscription using a test iTunes Connect user?

  If they feel the issue, there is a good chance for you to experience as well.

  Can anyone help with a problem I'm having?  Here is a brief explanation of what is happening and what we need to solve.

  Recently we found out that we need to add a line in the file VMX of several virtual machines.  In the past, I was able to do this, but would have cold start the virtual machine for the changes to take effect.  Starts cold won't be a problem, because we can program it.

  However, no one knows a way to add this line in the file VMX virtual machines in a cluster.

  Here's the line I need added:

  Devices.hotplug = "false".

  Here is a script that was used earlier (esx 3.0 days) to keep the VM tools updated on reboot.  At this point, if the virtual machine has been turned on, this change could not do through the UI.  However, this script worked to update the .vmx file and then we have cold reboots for the changes to take effect.

  ATI Radeon 4200 graphics card

  However, the video card works well with some of the new software that we have recently added this season holiday, I'm looking to upgrade the machine. After researching on the forums, it seems that the HD6870 is a solid upgrade at a reasonable price, but PS the250W is a matter of concern.

  My questions are:

  (1) can I buy any power supply (looking Coolmaster 460W PSU)

  (2) with the new power supply, is that all I need to upgrade the video card and

  (3) I just want to confirm that the HD6870 is a compatible video card that will work with my machine and the new PSU

  I just bought a 44 inch Designjet T770. I had some small problems of implementation as the inks were obsolete, and a print head needed replacing. They have been sorted and now it seems to work properly but always tells me that I need a firmware update.

  The printer is currently on version 2.0.0.0 of the firmware and whenever I try to print it displays a warning that tells me an update of the firmware is necessary, however when I followed the links to get the firmware it just says page not found.

  I tried the search site of HP and the net for the latest firmware with no luck.

  Can we please we indicate a link for the latest firmware or send an email.

  You need a backup solution to ensure that you can recover your system or files on your system. EaseUS Backup is one. Macrium Reflect is another. They all have two free versions. You would need to check the characteristics of each to determine which one is best for you. I use Macrium Reflect and I love it. It allows to generate a startup failure of your hard drive version.

• Need help with the software supplied with the Epson Scanner

  Recently, I bought an Epson Perfection 4490 Photo, which came with a number of packaged applications.  One of the bundled applications was be Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0.  Everything seemed to install correctly from the Epson CD, but the CD of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 install not, at all.  I noticed that a process called Setup32.exe fight, but nothing has ever appeared on screen, in the way of progress of the installation.

  The specifications of the computer on which I'm trying to install the software:

  Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

  500 GB hard drive with more than 300 GB of free space

  4 GB OF RAM

  64-bit AMD Turion x 2 processor (2.2 GHz)

  It is my understanding that PSE 2 is not supported in Windows 7. I migrated from PSE3 PSE 8 on my new Windows 7 machine, and the program works correctly in this environment. Suggest you buy PSE 9, which is the latest version.

• Need help with the software of CD/DVD problem!

  Okay - I have an OptiPlex 745, which currently holds a NEC DVD +-RW ND - unit 3650 a DVD Burner in that I just got from Dell to replace.  I have a TSST TS-H653.  I recently noticed that my cd/dvd would not do anything (it is not displayed in my computer and has a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.)  Dell shipped me a new motherboard and a new optical drive.  None of these solved the problem.  During the removal of the device and then reboot. Windows sees the device and installs it, but something is not quite take because it is always the yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.  I called the support technique dell back what they said it's a problem of software and reinstalling windows (I have XP Pro) could solve the problem.  I'm sure they're right about that because I can boot from a CD.  But I can't then use the drive under windows.  I also tried to switch from SATA 2 5 SATA but no go.  Any help would be greatly appreciated - I really don't want to have to reinstall just to correct an optical device.  Thank you all!
