    Hi Jrawie,

If you want to upgrade Windows Vista to Windows 7, you won't lose iTunes music library. However, there is a chance of losing the music of iTunes library if you choose custom installation.

You can see the Microsoft article for more information on the upgrade:

The difference between the student-to-teacher and regular versions lies in the license.  The software is the same.

  • Photos modified in Photoshop then saved, PhotoShop or Mac doesn't give the photo a file extension, and these files can not reopened.

Photos modified in Photoshop then saved, PhotoShop or Mac doesn't give the photo a file extension, and these files can not reopened.

I use a mac with PhotoShop CC and have experienced a problem during the recording of pictures once I've retouched in Photoshop. If I open a RAW or DNG file in camera RAW, or a TIF or JPG created in Lightroom in Photo and then change the file, everything looks OK. When I came to save the RAW as a TIF or JPG, or a TIF or JPG saved previously, or DNG PhotoShop or Mac file does not give a picture of a file extension.

These files cannot be reopened by myself in PhotoShop to be re-edited or opened by someone, I send the photos to use them or for them to print. Also, when I try to load these pictures on a website they are not recognized and rejected. Adobe Bridge recognizes the file in the format that I saved and saved in the metadata window file format, but does not show a file extension.

So far to solve the problem I had to export the file with the < file > < Export > function, otherwise I do not use PhotoShop like my photo editor. Export gives the file saved a file extension.

I use a Pro-impression who explained I had sent her one of these files without file extension and it is not able to open, edit, print, or save the file. My printer also explained that he experienced this problem on several other occasions.

Can Adobe indicate what changes you made and how to overcome this problem please?

  • copy of the files on a DVD and share it with other computers

I "sent" file of my blank DVD. I chose "mastered" to achieve a closed DVD. I then answer 'Yes' to create another disk? Which failed. I tried to put my first drive back in test it. Instead of going on the DVD, he went to a folder on my C: drive and gave a message of "ready to burn files to disc" message. I opened the DVD in Windows Explorer, and of course, he directed me to a folder on my C: drive. ALL I WANT TO DO IS COPY FILES TO A DVD. I have NOTHING else to this function in Windows. I want to be able to write files to a disc and then PLAY these files successfully, later.

Here are the instructions on how to burn files to a CD/DVD in Vista: http://maximumpcguides.com/windows-vista/burn-a-cd-or-dvd-in-windows-vista/.

  • XP uncontrolled copy of the photos in MY PICTURES

When you work with images in my PHOTOS of MY XP, the system begins to produce uncontrollable hundreds of copies of the photos I'm or choosing to work with trying to remove.  For example, a file should have only 150 images but has 570, a few images have been copied to 40-50 + times.  It's like a horror movie, where one seeks to delete files and they multuply faster that I can remove them.  What happens if I update to Windows 8?  Files containing copies not controlled will continue to do so?
