I receive kernel_data_input_error (usbxhci.sys) for windows 8
I get kernel_data_input_error (usbxhci.sys) after my computer wakes from sleep. Most of the responses here are for windows 7 and windows 8. I'm not that computer savvy., so need a lot of help! Even if I backup my work regularly, I lost a lot with this unknown thing in my computer. Thank you
It can help to look at the files minidump against accidents with a debugger.
Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and (provide link) available via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?
The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:
If you have problems to compress the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the desktop
In addition, you do not necessarily have compress the minidump files, you can download one at a time.

Is it possible to receive all the updates for Windows XP after re-installing?
I realize that Microsoft no longer make new updates for Windows XP (form apart recent exception), but I was about to run a complete reset of my Windows XP Netbook when I thought to myself "I'll be able to get the updates?"
So my question is just that, if I turn my Windows XP Netbookreset, it will download all the necessary updates, to the point where Microsoft stopped, making them?
If not, is there another way to get the updates, I would need, or is it better to not run the factory reset at all.
Your help is very appreciated,
Sylar
Yes, Windows Update will always offer updates for XP that were issued before April 8, 2014.
There is a catch, however, (which may apply to the vilidjit) - Windows Update won't work for XP, unless service pack 3 is already installed. It is also possible that it will not work until IE 8 is installed, but I'm less sure of that.
If your computer is running after a 'restoration provided the factory' earlier level of service pack for XP, you must download and install service packs manually. If you have no service pack, you need to install sp2 before you install sp3 (if you have sp 1 or sp1a, you don't need sp2).
If you did a "restore to factory conditions", don't forget to uninstall any free trial of an antivirus program (the free trial period will be long expired). Use the appropriate removal of the manufacturer of the virus program tool.

Go to Windows Update and download all post-sp3 updates. It may take several visits.

I have windows 8 and recently installed to quick heal internet security. My laptop is HP Pavilion n007AX 15. Recently, my laptop started to close automatically and the error it shows is 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (NETIO. (SYS)'. What could be the possible reasons for this problem and how to fix it?

These are associated in netio.sys. The first thing you need to do is update to win 8.1. In itself, which can solve the problem

When I bought my laptop, it came with windows xp. I found that there was a lot of programs that were not compatible with xp, so I asked microsoft one say upgrade to windows 7 to upgrade my system. Everything worked fine until about 3 months ago when I kept getting a message on my screen that says that my copy of windows 7 is not genuine. I tried all the tools on the microsoft Web site to solve this problem, but nothing has worked. Finally, I used the diagnostic tool to verify I checked that I put in the activation code is right, what is causing me to pass this message and what I can do to correct that only cost me an arm and a leg? Oakcdrom.sys for Windows 3.1
Hello!
In any case, I have Windows installed 3.1 in a 10 VM workstation. I can't read the .img file I did with oakcdrom.sys inside. In the GUI of Windows itself, Windows 3.1 will say to format the drive in Flie Manager.
Someone at - it a way to enter the virtual machine or to a diskette with the file image in which is compatible with Windows 3.1? If someone does, I would appreciate it so much!
Sincerely,
Kelvin T.
Just a guess here (I have over the BACK or W 3.1 VM), but perhaps your image is FAT32 and you need to use FAT 16 or 12?

I'm having trouble connecting my controller to the wireless receiver. I use XP, Service Pack 3, 32-bit. I read dozens of help sites for help, but none has my same circumstances. The most common suggestion was to look at the driver for the receiver appears as a device not recognized. I checked the Device Manager and the receiver is recognized and does not appear as device not recognized. My controller does not appear in Device Manager as a new group named Microsoft Common Controller for Windows class, on Xbox 360 Controller for Windows. My controller syncs perfectly with my console, and functions very well also. I also downloaded the file Microsoft Xbox 360 accessories of the Microsoft hardware Web site, such as recommended by many establishments but do not know how file functions. A last help, my receiver is genuine and not fake with the XBCD holographic logo.

Hello
1. what application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription?
2 Norton (another) or a McAfee application ever installed on this machine?
3. What are the fix applications that you used so far to try to fix this problem?
Try the next method and check if that helps you with the question of the 127 error you receive.
Method 1: Rdding the DLL file by doing the following:
1. Click Start and click Run, in the search box type CMD and press to enter.
2. right click on CMD in the list and click "Run as Administrator".
3. type the following command and press ENTER. Regsvr32 msvcp71.dll
4. close the command prompt window.Method 2: run the file system (CFS) Checker:
(Note: you need an XP installation disk to start the System File Checker search.)
The SFC command is used to detect and resolve problems with the files on Windows XP and Windows Vista computers. This command allows you to launch the Windows File Protection Service and allows you to analyze all integrity-protected Windows files and replace all problematic files identified.
1. click on start, and in the box to start, search type CMD
2. right click on CMD in the list and click "Run as Administrator"
3. type the following command and press ENTER. Sfc/scannow
4. close the command prompt window. For more information on scan SFC (System File Checker), please look in the link mentioned below.

I hope this helps.

A security update for windows THAT XP cannot install (KB2707511). Code received the error 0x80076BE. How to install this update?
Hello
You are able to install other updates successfully?See the methods mentioned below and check if that helps.Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Method 2: put the computer in a clean boot state to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353Note: After completing the troubleshooting steps in the clean boot, follow steps to configure Windows to a Normal startup State of the link section to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.
How to reset the Windows Update components?
Method 4:You cannot install updates from Windows Update, Microsoft Update, or by using the auto update after a repair of Windows XP after installing Windows XP SP3 immediately after a clean installation of Windows XP SP2 orHope this information helps. -
Is someone can you please tell me when Google Chrome will stop supporting 2007 Service Pack 2 for Windows Vista Home
Go Mary
I posted a substitution for Vista and XP operating systems. Please follow my instructions in this thread, or switch to Mozilla Firefox or Opera browser:
http://www.MSFN.org/Board/topic/175099-instructions-Google-chrome-end-of-support-VistaXp/
I always highly recommend to switch to Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or one of many other supported browsers.
While my dose turns off the message, you will NO longer receive updates of Google Chrome.
Given that Microsoft will support Vista at least a year, I don't understand Google dropping support early reasoning.
