I received a scam message.
Original title: text message... Is - this legitimate or a scam?
On Tue Jan 29 20:30 (time British) I received a text message from phone number * asking address ID, password, e-mail address, phone number.
No matter what email, text, etc., which asks that this sensitive information is almost certainly a phishing scam. Delete , do not answer.
Please see:

This message was a typical nigerian scam (419), where someone sympathize with you and/or hacks in your email then tells friends, you are in a strange country and someone stole your wallet and $2,500 need related to you.
Because this happened to my friend, I'm afraid that my own email address has been compromised.
Microsoft has responded to my report with the type 'keeps' email but does not guarantee that they would take care that my own email would not be for the same uses. How can I stop my own friends in my address book to my hotmail account to receive the same message "allegedly coming from me?
Thank you!
It seems that the only thing they have is your email address that is not desirable, but not a disaster. I suggest you (in this order):
1 scan you PC for malware using at least 2 good name * anti-malware products. Assuming that you have a product of real-time protection in place (for example, Norton, Microsoft Security Essentials) use it as a. The other could be the free www.malwarebytes.org demand scanner.
2. now that your pretty confident that your PC is free of malware change your password for a very tough - it is one of the most important things you can do to secure messaging accouunts (such as Hotmail). For advice about strong passwords, see:
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-GB/security/online-privacy/passwords-create.aspx
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/pc-security/password-checker.aspx .
Always use a different password for each different account otherwise if an account is hacked other accounts is more vulnerabe to be hacked too.
Finally, if you are really worried then change your e-mail account and close the one they know.

Original title: my computer is corrupt and needs fixing!
I received calls from a person in India who said that they are Windows services centre telling me that they have received the error message saying that my computer is damaged, and they want to help me. But I have not received any error message on my screen. When I asked them how they got my number they said it's from the database of Windows. The number they gave me is 02921252715 and when I called the number of the person on the other end told me that they are a company called Windows e-solution, independent company and is not attached to Microsoft Windows. What should I do? Are these authentic calls and approved by Microsoft Windows?

Iphone to iphone send the message gets received only one message as it was sent. If this is corrected on my iphone 5s in the Middle somewhere that I've missed?
It's normal light depending on what type and age of the device of recipients. There is nothing on the iPhone that will change how non - iOS devices to receive your messages.

Thunderbird guard receives the same message.
On an old desktop PC, always under XP with AVG free antivirus. I let my AVG computer can be updated at night. All of a sudden Thunderbird had received the same message over 200 times. It took a while to remove them all, and now I must leave off Thunderbird so it will not continue to receive this message. It is a message from my sister that contains a few attached images, photos from his camera, and the webmail message appears only once. I change not all configurations, except after this problem started, updated to Thunderbird 31.6.0 to 31.7.0. Any ideas?
Try to remove the message via webmail or move it to a different folder on the server.
It is highly unlikely that the update of TB is the cause. It is more likely Avast is playing with Thunderbird files.
So the Thunderbird profile folder should not be scanned by anti-virus software. -
I have two computers-

Facebook watch notification 'you have received a new message' instead, the preview of the text... because it did before... I have the chrome browser and Mac OS X Mavericks. Something has changed this week or so because two weeks ago it was beautiful. I read an excerpt of the message right in the notification Center, it was really cool!
Is someone has the same behavior now?
Welcome karffe,
I can see why it is important to be able to see your notifications completely when they arrive and I'll be more than happy to help resolve this.
On your Mac, in the upper left corner, select the Apple logo and select System Preferences. Once here, select Notifications, then you should see listed Facebook. Click on Facebook and then make sure that the alert style is set to "alerts." This should now give you an overview of what talk notification.
See you soon

What do you do when you receive a consistent message on a disk space?

Hello
You tell us your operating system or what drive/partition gives you this error message.
You can click Start > computer > know what partition is has insufficient disk space.
C: System drive, follow these steps:
This free program allows you to see what is taking place.
http://www.Jam-software.com/treesize_free/
By default system restore also includes 15% of the capacity of your hard drive.
You can change the size of it:
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76227-system-restore-disk-space.html
You can clean your hard drive using these two methods.
"Delete files using Disk Cleanup"
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup
Using the free CCleaner program:
http://www.Piriform.com/CCleaner
In NO case use the registry cleaning Option in CCleaner
Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
And Norton Backup, if you are using Norton, can do strange things with filling of hard drive space.

You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.
2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.
Also ask them how to make records.
Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..
There are backups on an external hard drive.
