I have recevied am email saying that I won a lottery promotion. Do you microsoft have any information on that?

    * original title - promotions for 2011 *.

    Hi arracurrence,

It's a scam!  There is no such promotion.  Do not click on links in the e-mail (e-mail even addresses).  Do not open attachments.  Do not attend all the sites suggested by email.  Do not call them or provide them with any personal information whatsoever.  Cannot access to your computer.  Add sender to Junk Senders list and delete the message.  I do not know what is the scam, but it's probably an attempt to identify the flight or to collect other information, or to sell you some product or service you don't need, or confirm your e-mail address, address is real so that they can add to a list of valid email addresses, and increase the amount of SPAM you receive.

You have been a good idea to check first.  You yourself have saved a headache on the road.  Good job spots and confirm before doing anything.  Microsoft is not those promotions If you see other emails like this, or making phone calls claiming that they come from Microsoft, simply delete the emails and hang up the phone.

    Good luck and best wishes!

  • I just got an email saying: "we have updated the Microsoft Services Agreement...". »

It's in my junk e-mail folder.

Why is this email in your junk mail folder?
Microsoft SmartScreen classified this as spam.

I find it rather ridiculous. Why Microsoft Security would identify their own message as spam? A customers need to know?
It seems legit to me, but I'm not clicking on one of the links until you verify that it is from Microsoft.

I received a notice from Microsoft, a services agreement MS update.

He arrived in my Inbox, not the Junk folder. I use Windows live mail as my email client.

I would say that your problem is an isolated case. Might have something to do with your settings of filtering of the mails.

I received an email saying "in the framework of doing business globally, Adobe monitor Exchange rates to our price adjustments upwards or downwards according to the needs. You may be aware that exchange rates fluctuated significantly over the past years. Because of recent changes in exchange rates in your area, Adobe raises the price of goods and services as of May 1, 2016. The new rate will be $28.99 per month. »

I want to know is how you can increase payments to 100% and claiming exchange rates as reason. What between AUD and USD exchange rate has changed to 100%?

Also, I think that the AUD will be at parity with USD in 9 months so that means you will then adjust my payments down?

    Hi Adam,.

It seems that most of that would be due at the end of the first year of the promotional prices (initiation) for education customers.

As for the rest, if you read this related Forum thread, it should give you a better idea on how & why happen currency-related price changes.

    Hope that helps.
