  I prefer not to keep the default choice of automatic search for the missing files. Open the Edit menu > preferences > files and uncheck this option. You will be free to begin a search, when necessary.

  Then use the file menu 'reconnect all missing files. You get a list of missing files in the window closing. In the middle of the second line, you have a small icon to open a menu in which:

  -You can choose all

  - then delete all.

  First place to check would be the place that the program saves by default. You can test it by importing a video (maybe a few seconds of blank film), then click on the registration option. That first record appears in the Save dialog box is where the program normally / last saved a file. Each program is different, but generally unless the project is recorded information is stored in a .tmp (temporary) format and then cleaned when the program stops. You can clean any .tmp among other files using Disk Cleanup:

  ·         Click on all programs

  ·         Click on Accessories

  ·         Click Disk Cleanup

  ·         Check the boxes for the files you want to clean

  ·         Click OK

• I want to copy all my jpg files to another directory (a portable hard drive) with some of the same names of JPGs, but not necessarily all. What will happen? The word 'COPY', will be some of the deleted files be added or nothing at all.

  I have a LOT of pictures in my computer (over a thousand) and I want to put them on a portable hard drive, I bought (1 terabyte) but I won't write any of the names of existing files with different images. IS THIS POSSIBLE? Do I need software or special hardware? I tried the copy/paste standard as well as move files to the new directory, but it seems that I can lose files. I'm not sure if the files that are missing (or lack, in my opinion) are not copied. When I finished emptying the directory, it shows that it is empty but the new directory does not seem to have any additional files that should be there based on the counting of the files before and after.

  1: right-click and then drag the pix on the external drive. Release the right mouse button and choose copy here. They are there?  Now remove it from the computer.

  2: you can see pix of the same name overwrite each other, or be done with (1), (2), etc.. But even in this case, they will be interspersed with the former. If keep you them in separate folders with different names, that should not happen. Personally, I rename all the pix before storing them. You can select the set instead of the code of the camera and a group, rename the first holiday 2009 yo and the rest will be renamed holiday 2009 and each havf will one (1), (2), (3), after them.

  It is also a nice freeware tool which, among other things, can rename a group of photos easily.

• How can I copy recipients of a letter sent in a fresh mail I have to deal with some of the deleted recipients?

  I want to be able to select the recipients of a new mail from a mail sent. I want to be able to copy some of the recipients of those previous mail, but not all. Is there a simple way to copy all the old recipients in a single operation, and then selecting some recipients to delete in one operation?

  Well Yes, it's easy to fix.  You are the javascript file requires jQuery is working properly and in the HEAD of your page or the page template you load the '/js/no-items-found.js' before calling jQuery.  Just move this SCRIPT reference in your page or your page template to the bottom of line to make AFTER the dismissal of javascript jQuery.

  Once correct you this error, it seems that the script is a not can prepare to deal with multiple instances of your web applications list.

  Home.css on your server file is a different version of your site as the home.html file. They must be synchronized for the page to be guaranteed to work properly.

• Printing images inserted on Windows 2003 with some of the top printed at the bottom

  The printer is a Photosmart D7560. Images inserted into a Word 2003 document were still part of the top (which seems to vary) printed at the bottom of the image, despite the Preview Print shows images correctly. The text above and below the pictures will print correctly. Document prints correctly on a Canon i850 printer.

  Ok. I lowered my butt and try the HP Deskjet 450 driver first. He wouldn't do anything. I then tried the 990 c driver and here, the photos printed OK.  So, I conclude that the programmer who made D7560 h driver was working Monday after a 3-day weekend. But this is a good interim solution. I doubt if HP will repair the driver D7560 h, but at least I don't have to rely on the Canon i850, if she should die an untimely death.

• Problem with some of the tools after upgrade.

  I upgraded my windows XP to Windows 7.  After reloading my PS software, I get a strange thing is when I open the Psalm some of my tools (eg. zoom) turn into 3 small icons when I move the cursor over an image.  The tools still work, but it's very distracting.  I don't know what caused it, but nothing I've tried will get back to normal tools.  Anyone has any ideas on this?

  Based on DPI scaling above 100 percent in windows 7 can cause the problem too.
