I tried the update of Firefox, worked once, but I turned it off, now I can't do it again

but he asked a password so I closed the window and thought I'll get it later, but now when I click on apply the update, it just closes and then opens again to my home page.

1. download the installer for the latest version.

2. locate your profile folder, and then close Firefox. Click the Firefox button or the file menu and choose Exit.

3. create a backup copy of the aforementioned profile folder.

4 uninstall Firefox from the control panel. DO NOT check the option to remove your personal data from Firefox.

5. run the installation file that you downloaded in the first step.

In the future, do not put off updating Firefox, at least not for an extended period of time. You still use the obsolete Firefox 6, which was released on August 16, 2011. It contains of many security flaws that put your computer at risk.
